She really nails it, so beautiful and wistful... love it. Also, loved the bass player at the end, nice salute to the singer.

One of the few, in my opinion, to catch the true essence of the song.

Wonderful arrangement of this Ian Tyson classic. Love the assortment of strings. And the vocals are pretty fabulous, too! Thanks for sharing!

No one,and I do mean no one, can sing like Brooke.... I'm very thankful that my friend Tyson Laney introduced me to these guys. I often find myself checking them out on youtube. - Steve

Good stuff kids. Brooke can belt it out, and I've loved John's bass and singing since the 1970's.

Ian Tyson wrote this classic. Back in the 60s I sang with a girl named Donna. Don (me) and Donna, folk singers, did this song. I really liked Ian and his sister, Silvia.

Sylvia Tyson was Ian's former wife. They have performed together, some, in reunion shows. I have a middle aged friend in Seattle, born Ian Tyson, who took his wife's last name when they married. He's in the software business, and no one could find him on Google!! He has never heard of Ian and Sylvia. When his little sister was born, 40 years ago, I told Meg she should have named her Sylvia. Got a blank look, and had to explain it 😅
