On an island in an oasis approximately 5400 years in the future… from approximately 24,920 years in the past. The great leap year pushes through. Ricocheting off earth’s atmosphere, a comet… Nah, check out the plasma universe. You’ll be electrified! Grateful deadication to my late wife.
It certainly always put me in a groovy mood, feeling great, etc. I can't choose a favorite Dead tune, but this trilogy gets me every time. I'm that big dope people see driving down the two lane highway here in Taiwan smiling a you know what eating grin. Not a freaking care in the world.
Some of this I've heard before, most I haven't but it's awesomely formatted to give maximum insight...there are jams in the jams that I'd swear I've heard the Dead use live.
Excellent of you to post this...always like rehearsal...like being a fly on the wall. Phil's terrapin clubhouse is like that, also excellent. Thanks again
Spacing my face getting ready to go to work. Between this and the weed my 'broken ribs dont feel so bad....' I know i know, wrong album. The shoe fits tho so ima wear it. Habe a grateful day everyone!! Im off to the races 💀⚘️⚡️🚀
Broken ribs dont feel so bad, still got more than you thought you had (assuming youre a man and a religious figure told you men have one less rib than women lol)
Can't really listen at work.....the working day is done . Upon further inspection , I love #6......Stan Getz and Astrud Gilberto.....another of my favorites.......this is a very good post
This is so wonderful to hear today! High up in Grass Valley, Ca high on grass and lo and behold I just found out there is a part 4 to 6 yet to come!!! Thank you thank you thank you !!!!!! :-)
Starting following the Dead in 1981 and became a hardcore taper in 1983. Got about 45 minutes of the Blues for Allah sessions in about 1983. Never heard the rest of this before today. Absolutely stunning stuff on there. That "primordial Crazy Fingers" jam is unbelievable. Some parts of the guitar on that section almost sound like Trey. I was wondering if my You Tube had shuffled in some Phish jam somehow. Never heard Garcia do that before. 75 was such an experimental year for this most experimental Bands. Thanks so much for posting this!!!!!
Awesome, yeah those are both underrated albums! And I'm sure if you had the right dosage going at the time, you had your own cool graphics to look at lol.

"The Drunk Lounge Band from Ipanema." This is outstanding. Thanks.

The Help/Slip/Franklin suite is one of the best things the Grateful Dead ever came up with.
Totally agree. Wish they had done more of this jazz feel stuff
Stronger than Dirt or Milk'n n'the Turkey

The greatest form of magic
So the Foolish Heart riff during Franklin's. I've heard it in Franklin's prior to FH but never this early or as pronounced....

So fuckin cool. Love Music Never Stopped!!!
A lot of this sounds like just Billy, swingin his ass off like he could only do when Mickey wasn’t in the room.
This is SWEET ! I have about half of this on a hard drive ..this sounds much better. Lots of this I have not heard
Enjoying this so much, thank you to all involved.
Had this on a CD back in my college days in the 90s. Have no idea what happened to it.
It sounds like Cipollinas along for the jam? Very sweet stuff. Only heard some of this before.
