This video describes how a galvanic (or voltaic) cell uses a spontaneous redox reaction to harness electrical energy.
You’ll learn how to identify the direction of electron flow in the cell, how to determine the half-reactions on the anode and cathode, as well as the importance of the salt bridge to the maintenance of the cell.
