They did talk about it in the news article Their reasoning is the fact it doesn't suck as bad in dragon attacks which made them think it might get more use rate with the right army, but they will buff it if the use rate didn't get better Which i may add is weird because the equipment has been out for 3 months and still has poor use rate, what do they think would change???? especially since warden has more busted and versatile equipments????
@@firedragon240 To be honest I think the use rate is so low that they don't have enough stats on it to figure out just how much of a buff it needs. I think them mentioning it works with some armies is hopefully going to get more people to begin testing out the Lavaloon puppet again so they can get more stats on where it currently sits in the meta.
@@perrykv7312 how about balancing it properly the first time so people with already limited ores don't end up wasting all of them on equipment that's going to be turned to shit in a month?
@@denxx56 the only one of these equipments that is actually new are the Electro Boots, under your argument, wouldn't they have nerfed the Dark Orb or the Lavaloon? And even then, the nerf doesn't outright kill their efficiency, as stated in the video, as for the Earthquake Boots, it has been in the game for a shit ton of time and became broken for a couple of months by now, and even then, it's main function is still useful: Breaking down walls and do area damage (the removal of not being capable of eliminating Skeletons from the skeleton traps is a bit bs tho) Again, the issue is in the way the Ores are distributed in the game, not the balance changes done to the Epic Equipment, to think that the Equipment aren't going to receive any form of buffs or nerfs at any point is just delusional
Is it really a buff for the vampstache. The buff would make it so the king moves from one building to another faster in lesser hits thus in turn getting lesser healing.
@@noone20-r yeah this. It's especially bad with Starry Ores. They should give 10 for every daily 5-star bonus, and then double the rewards from Raids and Wars.
Surprisingly i think the nerfs this time around are fine because we all saw the electro boots getting nerfed from a mile away and the EQ boots are still good thanks to the 8 tile radius. However i think the buffs this time around are pretty underwhelming. Surprised they didnt even buff the Lavaloon Puppet.
As a lower level TH Fireball user, this makes me a bit sad, but these are really balanced changes that I feel will give equipment more variety since the best in slots can be considered for different armies. I wonder how the Gauntlet Rage Vial combo will feel compared now that the nerf to the EQ boots is coming through.
Won’t change vamp stash is a nerf even with the dps upgrade You get Less healing from it since you kill buildings faster.. and eq boots half the people use it for the wall effect.
I personally liked every nerf/buff butttt I was surprised about fireball being nerfed, I have it at lvl 23 right now and was debating whether or not should I max it out. Guess what SC answered it now so shock 24/27 it is. Other than that great changes glad the game devs are working nicely none of the nerfs seem like they will kill the equipment. As usual great video corrupt
Honestly, I like most of the changes. Fireball nerf makes Fireball superwitches/Fireball titan smash less oppressive at TH14 and below, and Electro boots were easily super broken and I'm glad they were nerfed. And this is coming from a Fireball and Electro boots user. I like the damage reduction of the EQ boots to 40%, but feel like the ability to not kill skeletons makes it a bit too weak. I'd like to see the equipment reworked a bit to fit more of the role that they want it to fit in the attack- opening up the base, by reducing the damage to 35% and giving the king a passive that scales with equipment level giving the king a damage multiplier on walls, starting at x2.5 and maxing out at x8-10. Obviously, with RR being so prevalent, this change might not be that impactful, but I think that's a separate discussion more to do with design of the RRs itself. Vampstache is gonna be pretty viable now for a hero dive with the Giant Gauntlet or Spiky Ball imo. Especially with that DPS increase combined with the Spiky Ball, your king is gonna reach over the 1000 DPS range pretty comfortably. Life Gem is probably gonna see more useage with super hogs and throwers. Lalo is probably not gonna be used at higher levels still, mainly because balloons and especially lava hounds need a new level or two. I think the Barbarian Puppet, Archer Puppet and Royal Gem buffs are ultimately not gonna do much, because their abilities are just really bad, or don't provide any actual offensive power or real utility. These equipment need a major rework in my experience.
GIVE US OUR ORES BACK ! NERFING EPIC EQUIPMENTS WITHOUT COMPENSATION IS CRAZY .... IT'S YOUR FAULT TO MAKE IT OP AT THE BEGINNING AND NOW NERFING IT = SCAMMING THE PLAYER BASE
I always make the mistake of maxing out the new equipments and leaving the others ignored and couple weeks later they nerf it. From now on I’m going to keep all my equipment at a usable level because clash has always and will continue to nerf whatever is OP. But I understand it’s to keep the game balanced.
And again Supercell forgot to Buff Lavaloon Puppet

They really ran out of idea with this one. For neither the originality or the strengh, this equipment doesn't feel epic at all
Could have atleast buff the stats for the warden, weakest stats on an equipment in general

No one cares about lavaloon puppet 😂😂😂
Bro we just Maxed out the new good equipmnet and they nerfed it again!!!
Not this shit again, it's obvious is going to happen, it's called balancing for a reason

Boots will still be good, they needed to be nerfed. This is not a gut by any means, a gut would have been reducing the range.

EXACTLY
Nah, it's also the change to buff snake equipment+ vamp combo, where 10 Snakes will be there to tank king.
The main issue is ores
Players can learn new strategy, but can't get more ores,
They should add more ores resource
Nothing wrong with nerfs. The issue is, Supercell should give us an option to redistribute our ores. It is not fair.
That's never going to happen because it would break the game economy. They should just give us more ores.
Greedy tencent (largest stakes owner) won't allow that.
@@Arashish17 or if we stopped spending money on the game. If the majority of us stopped, they will listen

The fireball nerf is so sad for people under TH15(like me). Couldn't they have simply changed it for hard mode instead of messing up so many people...
Good thing they didnt nerf the Tomes
They nerfed them before already.

People may use eb + royal gem for spirit walk, as rc will take dmg in between bc of invi nerf + less self heal.
Ya true
man i just leveled up my fireball to lvl 20 as a F2P bruh.....
Same lol, i just maxed my warden and fireball for walks
You'll just have to upgrade it even further. It's not the worst nerf here.
You need to get it to lvl 24 at TH17 anyways so it doesn't really matter.
It's only nerf for hard mode
@@Wilsonq_q not only hardmode but also for below th15 players too...
Mustache buffed for upcomming 5k hp king epic equip
And they buffed 10% on arch and barb puppets
So it doesnt look obvious

At th16 and 17, lvl 24 was needed anyway for being able to destroy the ricochet canon and the eagle. So in the long run it doesn't change much

3:20 we are getting new animations for equipment with legendary skins?
I think it's just the power of editing, no other content creators have mentioned regards to it
its the new fireball animation, i think its better
0:40 calculator source?
For levaloon peppet buff increase its hero stas
Still guna use eb + rs the nerfs arent much

Target for min. usable lvl for new equipment like lvl9 for eb boots, bc they gonna nerf it anyway, maxing out common equipment is more beneficial.
I am nerfing my budget for this game
This will probably get me to stop playing the game
Supercell fucked up fireball animation why tf they made worst decision?
I officially quit!!! We spend and they nerf
Rip rc walk 😂😂
I dodged a bullet😂. I was about to level up the fireball from 1 to 21 yesterday.
Upgrade it. its not bad. Just have to invest higher
@CorruptYT I thought so, but the ROI after lvl 21 is pretty low.
