  • This presentation covers the section on teachers and learners. If you want to become a teacher in English as a foreign language, or any teacher really, it is important to understand the role of both the teacher and the learner.

Wow. Education without a need to either pay for it or to devote myself to becoming a student. Brilliant. Thank you a lot. I'm bad at reading books, have been kind of stuck on the one self-teaching book for over 6 months, learned a lot from it, but one of the main things (the book is called PRACTICAL techniques for language teaching...) that is the hardest to do - is to start applying these techniques and advices, to see which are a must for me for today, and to find the "real" way to execute them. For example, "talk to collegues, seek advice, have a community of fellow teachers around you". I had a few "meetings" with acquatances who are teachers, it gave me something, but they were professionals, not mates, who I could easily explain my current problems to, or share ideas or thoughts. Now I'm starting to realise who I WANT to talk to today - in a way more simpler manner. Just an example. Doing things that you have an inner sense for gives more than following the "right plan". There's some plan, of course, but it's the same as the lesson plan: be ready to drop the plan at any moment for the benefit of doing things that are useful and interesting right now.

Maybe you write on the whiteboard before you turn on the camera? LoL I see after I year getting paid for teaching, 30% if the time goes to you writing words on the board. by the end of the semester, you got a new BMW just for writing on the board! good business mate! Good biz! I don't wanna know if you need to teach a song and you start typing the lyrics lol!
