Hi Cody. Thanks for video. We are Canadians sponsoring a Cuban to take a Cnd. support worker program on line. Internet sucks in Cuba thus sending him to live in Grenada for decent internet so we are very interested in places “off campus”.Hoping flights work soon. Inter-Caribbean is our only hope right now on waiting list. 2 hour plane ride may be a 5 day trip with stopovers. Interested in food types also, although he would eat almost anytthing as there is hardly any food or meds in Cuba at present.

Hey Cody! My boyfriend and I live off campus in point saline’s and we want to get a car. Did you have a car, and do you recommend buying or renting? Thanks!

Hey, I did not have a car. My friends who did usually rented cars. If they had a scooter, they usually bought and sold it their last term. Totally up to you though.

Hi Cody. I'm starting in August in SGU. Do you have any info on the studio housing mentioned in their website? Is it an option for the first semester?
    Thank you

Hey! Congrats! If I'm not mistaken, the studios are for married couples. There are suite style living apartments available to single students.

@@doctorchill_Hi. Thanks for your answer. Do you know if there are suits available for single occupancy?
      Thanks again :)

Did the 700 a month include utilities off campus? Also if you don't mind could you mention a few apartments you know of within walking distance to campus. Current term 1 here

My utilities were about 100-150 per month, not include w/ rent. I used facebook groups to find privately owned apartments close to campus, as those were cheaper than some of the big name apartments close to campus.

When you lived in campus what type of dorm did you occupy? Was it easy to find available housing outside and close to campus?

I stayed in a 3 bedroom 1 bath. And yes, it's pretty easy to find off campus housing once you're on the island!
