One thing about Cody he’s gonna be PUMPED the fuck up. Up every morning at 4 am talking to the camera, making beats, drinking 5 cups of coffee, running, like his level of energy is unparalleled… all my peace and love to Kelsey 🙏
i think the space he's in is separate from the main house. its like a detached barn/office (the only reason i know this is bc its reese whitherspoon's old house so there's pics online)
Hey Cody, you and Kelsey inspired me to start doing couch to 5k at the start of this year. It was a little discouraging how hard it was at first, but I'm happy to say I just ran my first 5k last week! Since then I've done it again, and now I'm setting my sights on a 10k. TIME TO GO 🏃♂️
I’m on a weight loss odyssey and recently eclipsed 100 pounds lost thanks to a consistent diet and picking up jogging. Watching these videos continue to give me an insane amount of inspiration. Keep up the good shit Cody. We ascend together.
@@Bill_e_midnightlmaoo good one. Congratulations on the weight loss! Rooting for you, bud:) I’m on somewhat of a weight loss journey as well, currently down 40lbs, 40lbs more to go!
Cody I’m a d1 college athlete and I dislocated my shoulder and had to get surgery, but I want you to know your content got me through it. I’m going to be a freshman, and the idea of coming into my first college season after an injury really scared me at first but watching you come back from your injuries and just love the process as much as you do reminded me of why I’m doing it in the first place. Did my first workout on the bike today in 2 months bc of you, ENERGY IS EVERYTHING!! (p.s. please give me a discount on the Cody run club water bottle it’s so cool but I have like twelve dollars to my name)
Got myself out of a bad depressive episode and got up for my first run in almost two weeks this morning after watching a few Cody Trains videos yesterday. we ascend together bitches
I got Lasik this past January and as someone who loves to be active and has worn glasses or contacts since 6 years old it was the best thing I have ever done. I woke up so many times with tears of joy! It only gets better:)
just got PRK and i’m totally experiencing the same thing! i both started gymnastics and got glasses when i was 3 and now being able to do things without worrying about my glasses falling off is awesome!
hey cody, i’ve been watching you for years & i recently came across your training videos when me & my boyfriend of 3 years recently broke up. i was a mess & your videos really inspired me to get back on my feet. i’ve never really been a runner but i’ve started my training & i signed up for a 5k in september! much love to you & kelsey, choo choo!!!
Hey Cody 👋🏻 I love all your content but this channel has really inspired me. I’m a veteran turned SAHM who struggles with alcoholism. After a relapse one month ago, I rediscovered this channel looking for positivity and moto but then you talked about showing up for myself. I hadn’t been working out/running consistently in a long time but I started running 1.5 miles every day on/off treadmill and lifting again. I gave myself a goal like you said…today I ran a 5k in 30 min! That’s almost as good as I used to do in high school XC. Thanks for reminding me that you gotta just get up and do it and keep doing it, results will follow. I’ve lost 5 pounds, sleeping good, feeling better and clearer mentally. Gonna do a mud run with my DAD in August! I love this little community and gonna grab myself a shirt. WE ASCEND TOGETHER
Yes I got my Lasik on the 17th and I was telling everyone this exact experience about the burning smell and the intense pressure. I had never heard anyone describe it before but it was pretty crazy!
For anyone considering it, lasik is probably the best decision I've ever made - I would 100% do it again. My contact prescription was -7.5, and I can honestly say it is life changing.
@@TheSameNameasYou As someone who has had it for more than a year, I actually had some issues with focusing because of how bad my eye was, I only did 1 eye bc my other was 20/20, so they actually recommended me glasses lol. So if you're doing both eyes, that won't be an issue, although I'm not sure. I've gotten a lot better and it's because I use sunglasses religiously when I go outside. ALWAYS have sunglasses on you. Protecting your eye is super important, especially with how expensive LASIK is lol. I do experience dryness, but it's better bc I bought preservative-free eye drops, which are recommended for LASIK eyes. They are more expensive but you will def help your eye(s) in the long run. Follow the plan they give you and you'll be okay. Just know that what Cody said is true AF. The surgery is intense and honestly has traumatized me a bit lol, in terms of I will NEVER do it again, even if my other eye gets bad. As long as you take the Xanax, or whatever pill they prescribe you, and you're relaxed, you will be okay. Don't be afraid to ask someone to hold your hand, it made me feel A LOT better! Good luck :)
@@TheSameNameasYou I got it in 2014 and I've had no issues at all, highly recommend it, I backed out the first time I went for a consult but it was 1000% worth it!
I hate being that person but it can go wrong. It's rare, but it could happen to anyone. My dad is basically blind now because of it. I know fora lot of people it is worth it. But to me, even the small risk of loosing my vision is not. And I don't mind wearing glasses anyways
im glad yours went well. I always give people a warning cause mine went horrifically and I had an entire year i had trouble reading or looking at screens and could barely go outside or drive my car. luckily im better now for the most part and i know its a small percentage of people but if youre considering it do realize that there is risk involved however unlikely it is
Had my lasik 23 years ago. Still better than 20/20 most of the time. No regrets ever till now. Having cataract surgery in two weeks. The flat cornea presents some difficulty in getting measurements for new lens. I remember being scared before and reliving those feelings again now.
I loved lasik! First 2 days post op I could see perfectly then it got blurry for a week or two now I can see perfectly although night vision is a little rough. Got it done for my first tri which I just finished yesterday as well. We’re ascending together !
LMAO The fact that at 1:55 cody didn't say "TASTES LIKE PISS!" like he usually does after drinking something in front of a camera because the drink he was having was the video's sponsor SENT ME
This is my new favorite channel. Love the candor of the blogs, and it gets me off my ass. love the merch too! Just ordered a hat and shirt. I'd also buy the shit out of some Choo Choo merch with the train on it.
I just started training, i got a heavy build and its difficult to run, but im making videos to keep myself motivated, because you and Nick bare are huge inspirations!!!!
Keep at it bro, I just ran a half marathon at 103kg/226lbs bodyweight it is possible, just don't forget to be consistent, do resistance training and prioritize rest & nutrition
I decided to watch this channel to maybe inspire me to go back to the gym regularly. It worked! Just finished my second workout this week and I’m planning to start training to do my first 5k soon :) thanks Cody!!! CHOO CHOO
i dont know who cody ko is and i dont work out but for some reason this has quickly become my favorite channel on youtube. theres something about it. i dont know man.
Hey Cody! I just started my marathon training for my marathon in October and wanted to share that your energy (which is everything) is a great motivator to get out there so thanks for all your videos!!
I'm not blessed with a body where I can jog or anything intense without severe pain, but I've been doing pilates & weights every other day and already feel stronger 💪 choo choo
Another Lasik gal here. 👋 I had my surgery when I was 18 years old, and I remember I was scared because it's a) an uncertainty and b) a very vulnerable part of your body. But it was a very fast procedure. The hard part for me was after the surgery, my eyes really hurt like never before or after. But again, it wasn't for very long and the benefits of a good healthy sight outgrow that pain. Now, I'm 31 and still see clearly and appreciate it a lot. No more foggy glasses or itchy eyes because you need to take the contacts out.
I prepped and competed in my first ever bodybuilding show and I used Cody trains to help me through long cardio sessions, thank you Cody I appreciate you! We ascended together.
Cody i always admire your realness, that's what sets you apart from others. I'm so happy for you, that being said: 1. That was the most uncomfy explanation of lasik, my eyes felt weird 2. Please tell me u dont actually open ur eyes in the ocean 😭 Again tho, i literally love these videos so much!!! Never stop these cute little vlogs.
Cody do your eyes have way more reflection to them now? And do they look like orbs in store lighting? My mom got hers done and now her eyes have white sheens off them all the time, they look robotic at times! And they changed colour! 😯
I want LASIK soooo bad but will probably never be able to afford it, but that would be so cool to just idk..open your eyes under water and be able to see 😮 or wake up and not have to rinse and change your contacts. Even with contacts/glasses I don’t think I’ve ever gotten to 20/20 vision so I bet that was cool to experience that and I’m glad it went well!!!
No one’s going to say anything about Cody saying how peaceful it is at the US Open as he shows the fairway and his friend is facedown with an empty can next to him
Goodbye four eyes Cody 😔
honestly really liked his brown glasses
I miss him already…
The only reason I finished my ironman is because Cody told me to not die and to keep moving forward. True inspiration!
Love you ROB
