Have you tried Canson Mi Teintes Touch? It used to go by the name Tex. It looks very similar to Pastelmat but I can't find much about it on the internet. Would love to see you try it if you can get your hands on it as I value your opinion :)
Thank you, no I haven't tried it. From what I've seen it looks to have a more textured surface like the honeycomb side of the regular Canson Mi-teintes, which is why I haven't bothered to try it out. But I could be wrong and it could be amazing.
I could only wish to be this good, but you are an inspiration, even when you are challenged! I'm curious about the cotton bud. Is it dry or do you dampen it with odorless mineral spirits as I see some people do?
You are much too kind. The cotton bud I'm only using dry, so there are no mineral spirits or similar on it. That's one of the beautiful things about Pastelmat is you can blend the colour out very easily.
