Little Women is my absolute all time favorite book. I think I was 12 when I first read it. I read it every 2 yrs. Not necessarily at Christmas. Lisa May Alcott lived in the town (Concord) which is next to the town I grew up in; Lexington, Mass. I have been in her house soooo many times I could be the tour guide. I read A Christmas Carol every other Christmas. I read A great book last Christmas that I will always keeps Red bird Christmas by Fannie Flagg. First time I have watched your channel. Thanks!
I love your videos so much! I feel like a could curl up with fuzzy socks and a warm blanket by the fireplace just to watch your videos. I really enjoy your book recommendations and how you describe them with so much warmth and love. I’ve noted some of these down so I can check them out this Christmas season. 💖
Serendipity is a staple every holiday season for me. And I really enjoyed In A Holidaze last year. I’m currently reading The Holiday Swap and having such a good time with it!
Thank you for yet another awesome recommendations video! Before the end of the video, I bought Murder for Christmas on my kindle and borrowed Greenglass House from my library (and yes, my December TBR is crying right now...) I just read a Christmas Carol last week, listened to the audiobook which was read by Hugh Grant and I might make it a Christmas tradition to listen to it, honestly. As for Christmas book recommendations, if you like Christmas with the Kranks, I highly recommend the book it was based on, Skipping Christmas by John Grisham. It's quick, fun and full of haha moments 🔥🔥🔥
oh my gosh....LOVED the intro! New to your channel...im a huge cozy mystery fan and found your channel through a search! Subscribed and can't wait to watch more!
Really nice picks that really sound great from your intriguing blurbs and makes me wanna get a comforter and start lightening a fire as I get coco goin!
Loved all your cozy winter recommendations! I started reading Greenglass House about a week ago and I totally agree it’s very descriptive and sooo cozy!
I’ve been wanting to recommend this book to you for the longest time. You may have already read it because I picked up after Darling Desi recommended it. It’s called “Winter Solstice.” It’s about five people who’s lives all kind of kind of intertwine somehow and they all end up in a cabin/cottage somewhere during the Holiday season. I really enjoyed it and thought it was very homey, warm and a perfect read for “by the fire.”
You reminded me I need to throw Murder on the Orient Express onto my TBR asap!!!!! The Holiday Swap was a 3 star for me, but it was SOOO cozy and I was obsessed with the baking elements, I hope you enjoy that one so much!! :)
I have read several of those and wholeheartedly agree (Little Women, A Winter's Promise and Murder on the Orient Express are all excellent recommendations!) I am going to read a Curse so Dark and Lonely and Essex Serpent this winter - they seem like they are good cold weather books and at least Essex Serpent opens around Jan 1... so maybe it is a good one to pick up after the New Year. :)
Hey.. thnks for this amazing content.. the effort u put in is just incredible.. love ur editing.. cute thumbnail.. keep the good job up.. sending love..❤❤
LOVED Greenglass House and the sequel Ghosts of Greenglass House!!! Would highly recommend. I would also recommend the Winterhouse series. It is a middle grade trilogy set in a hotel in a very wintry place. I enjoyed all three of them. Also, I just finished Even the Darkest Stars, and ordered the sequel. Very wintry mountain climbing setting.
Love the Books& this Channel! I am currently actually reading the Holiday Swap & if you’ve seen any of the Princess Switch movies with Vanessa Hudgens it totally relates to the first movie of this series! Im loving it so far
I loved the ''You liked the Polar Express?'' moment, I lost it 🤣🤣🤣 And yes, Little Women ftw!! I received that book as a present, my first book ever!! It's perfect for this time of year
I just watched serendipity last night for the first time, and it was amazing, I loved every minute of it. I watched it because I saw you watched and enjoyed it, so thanks for the rec.
So I’m an avid reader, but I’m also not someone who *binges* books very often (I’ll read a little bit each day) anyway.. I got Greenglass House right after your last recommendation and in 2 days I was almost done and SAD about it. I recommended it to so many people because it’s SOO GOOD. And it made me watch this video because I NEED MORE.
The Greenhouse Glass story is on my TBR for this month’. Thank you Lexi for all your recommendations! I will let you know when I have read it and what I think about it! It sounds so good and promising!!!

Great recommendations. I would add Truman Capote's "A Christmas Memory" - delightful short story. Also, have you read any Miss Read books? They are quintessentially English, set in cosy, quaint villages. "A Country Christmas", " The White Robin", "The Christmas Mouse" and many more are an absolute delight. 🎄🎄🎄
Lexie, if you liked murder on the orient express read Death in the clouds and the murder of Roger Ackroyd - also by Agatha!!! In fact all of her books are AWESOME
My favorite yearly read for Christmas is The Christmas Shoes by Donna VanLiere. I also love The Christmas Songbird by Summer Prescott and Jingle Bell Hell by A.R. Casella and Denise Grover Swank. Best RomCom ever!

That’s so nice of you to say thank you! I use a Rhode mic and I highly recommend!! Sound is really important to me- I’m currently trying to figure out my microphone situation for my vlogging camera lol. Hope that helps! 😊❤️
The bear and the nightingale is the most perfect book for the winter time
Currently reading little women and I’m loving every second of it! I’m roughly 100 pages in and it’s perfect for a cozy, winter read so far!
