    Good depth got today. Rattler a better backup than Haener and would feel more confident in him stepping in due to a carr injury. Boyd could be our nose. Means is intriguing too

    I wish that was true, but letting the Saints draft some future players tells me that DA has at least 2 more years here.

    I'm glad you feel good about your starting quarterback because the fans don't. I'm glad you guys took a flyer on a high upside qb prospect though. These last few seasons have been hard to watch I really wish you guys would have just rode out with Jameis and passed on carr. I'm not trying to be negative but he played bad alot last year and didn't take responsibility for his mistakes most if the time

      No quarterback plays well from his back

      @davidsellers3639 absolutely kind of like that time he threw that pick to Jessie Bates vs atl... he just made a good play right?

      @@davidbarber3739football is a team sport, multiple positions underperformed last year. Oline being a major area of concern

    DA will be fired halfway through the season, Kubiak will take over, Carr will be benched, and Rattler will get a shot to b e QB1 and will probably be mid.

    So let's get straight what you guys actually did DA. Y'all passed on multiple starters to add special teamers, practice squad guys, and backups. You volunteered to take on a QB with a reputation as a locker room cancer instead of filling any needs the team had. You passed on quality receivers to get a guy who may be slightly better than Stanley Morgan, and most egregiously you neglected the offensive line until the 7th. There better be a medical report that made you back off of Mahogany and Limmer or everyone is getting fired.

      @moshegoldbergTheKing It would be less frustrating if the OL class was worse. But watching so many talented guys come off the board just to get Rattler was a kick in the balls. Maybe there will be some signings that change my mind, and maybe the new coaching staff will make starters out of Penning and Sal, but as of right now, DA and Loomis need to see me in the streets.

      @moshegoldbergTheKing You forgot, there were also centers that could kick out to guard too! There were so many options that it's hard to accept they chose none.
      As for the Rattler thing, the second Carr throws two incompletions in a row, I expect the Dome to be chanting dude's name even if he's not ready.

      There are no guaranteed starters in the 5th, 6th, or 7th rounds. You don't pass on a higher grade player to fill a need with a lower graded player. There's still UDFAs, veteran free agents, and trades that could fill needs and depth

    • @nickmessner700
      @nickmessner700 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@prestongrundmeyer2518 There's no guaranteed anything in any round, but there are prospects graded as starters. Some of which were available in the 5th, 6th, and 7th rounds. None of which are currently Saints. And I agree you don't spam needs in lieu of drafting the best players down there, but when the best players are also the ones you need and you still pass on them, I'm gonna let you know you fucked up. Because you did.

      @nickmessner700 Rattler is not a cancer! He's the exact opposite. A great team mate, takes accountability for himself and others, never complains, works hard and is tough as nails. He was for 2 full years for the Gamecocks dealing with a lot of adversity and injuries around him. Not a single person in and around the SEC ever had a negative word about him or his attitude.
