Regarding endurance vs breakfast combo, you can wait until they use dread return and oracle etb. You can endurance in response to the trigger. That way dread return is exiled and oracle is on the battlefield (not going back into their deck)
Still a bit anemic in it of itself. They can mill again putting all their narcamoeba into play, which enables cabal therapy, and possibly bridge from below. They could also be running two dread return. Just depends on their list
@@ronaldrage2118 theoretically there is a player point which you can find in your game logs, however I doubt if the ratings are really put into use for better queuing
I think their plays are situationally reasonable. g1 forcing the thoughtseize presumably to protect show and tell is aggro but reasonable and g2 if they plan to endstep brainstorm might as well mainphase it, if they have show and tell emrakul in hand there's always a chance you draw triple petal and can turn 1 and there are a variety of situations esp in combo decks where endstep/mainphase brainstorm t1 is reasonable.
1:04:00 surely minus lilly straight away to discard the minsc? next turn kill the token, turn after, kill the flipped fable? so they did no value from the fable, and you keep lili (can survive 1 turn of attacks, or chump with a spare hierarch).
not game play related at all reid, but the cup you drink coffee from may only be decorative and not intended to actually be used for drinking. the bottom should say if its safe to use or simply decorative becasue ive seen many of these kinds with a warning label on the bottom as some may contain dangerous or toxic chemicals
Hey Ried i was thinking about this deck and the mana base and it seems like maybe it could use an urborg tomb of yogmoth and even to a lesser extent the green version of that card 🤔 idk i think it would be neat to see both of those cards in a deck 😅any 💡 ideas
Why doesnt Reid or ChannelFireball fix grapich quality of Reids videos? All of them are grainy making it hard to read cards. Its hould be pretty easy, recording in 1080p is doable on even weaker pcs today.
Hi Reid, big fan here. is it possibile to warp the list including Death Shadow? this way I could minimize the number of dual lands, and the deck becomes quite more affordable - and all the cards would be all recently printed. what do you think? thank you
Btw, explain to the kids that you are playing FOW, it just happens to be a red card for 1cmc. Now Huey would usually run Leyline of Sanctity. The smart play. But people don’t consider that “cool”. Even when Grief Reanimator is one of the most busted decks in Legacy.
it doesn't often come up but surprisingly more often than I expected. I've had delver and shadow surgical my pyros with me having reb in hand and I've also surgicaled pyro before. I've also meddling maged pyroblast and hadn't seen cabal therapy come up before this video but another example. Splitting vs not splitting are very corner case but IMO unless you're playing delver or another deck with 8+ reasons to prefer pyroblast it's more common for surgical/meddling mage/therapy to come up.
Reid: The poll is still open.
Me: Still votes for Jund.
Meltdown could be a helpful sideboard card over ancient grudge or pernicious deed.
To me, watching classic Jund in modern is like watching paint dry but in legacy, it's really interesting to watch. Awesome vid!
I feel ya
"this is not completely out of the blue" but it is zero blue spells
pyroblast as the honorary blue spell
Watching Reid sideboard is like a masterclass in sideboarding
Didn't really need the words "sideboard" or "in sideboarding"

@@tanta1519 Cephalid ALWAYS names Endurance vs Endurance decks. It sounds weird but Endurance does not work vs Cephalid.
Reid Duke, Jund, some coffee and bacon N' Eggs.
I'm having a fantastic morning.
The opponent in game 1 I believe is just new to Legacy or their deck. Explains both the odd turn 1 plays.
Mtg online really doesn't have an mmr system (matchmaker ratings) by now? That be pretty interesting if true.

All hail the lord of Jund
Love seeing the master of Jund!
49:31 Holding the Bayou ended up costing a Wasteland here.
Reid +Jund=Popcorns and chill
Tarmogoyf in legacy?! Wow!

Curious about the lack of Veil of Summer in the side. Do you feel it's not needed? No room? Rather have more REB anyway?

Reid give historic jund abundant ring a try. Very solid deck and does super good against the Meta historic.
49:19 The moment Reid lost his right to hold lands in hand if he's testing with the LSV crew.
In this format it's called "whiteless mavrick with a red spash"
Always killing it!
for when duke’s jund in historic?
Mawloc is a must have in this list. Probably will be an autoinclude in the future.
Is this the paper-only Warhammer card?
“Hello, it’s Reid and I am going to be playing Ju-“
I know, I know, I love you, just show me the decklist

Yes I really enjoyed this video 👌 Well spent 90 minutes of my life 👍
So sad to see no bloodbraid elves. I know that Minsk & Boo and GSZ are just better cards, but still... 😪
Jund everywhere!!!! Jund on yugioh too!!! Jund on hearthstone! Jund jund jund... i love it!

I play a legacy "jund pile" deck. Plays blood moons and mirri's guile alongside dark conf. Plays hymns and pyros maindeck.

FINALLY ! Jund.
You know it’s jund when there is like 30 different 1 ofs
This is great
The thumbnails 😂
Reid Duke plays jund? It can't be.
Yeessss! Legacy Jund!!!
Why is it you don't show all 5 matches of the league?
HELL YEA
Why is the video quality so bad? I mean, Reid's camera looks ok and clear, but the gameplay is all blurry.
when in doubt jund em out
No Meltdown SB?
I guess Deed is a little more flexible, albeit slower? It also helps grow Tarmogoyf.
I was also thinking meltdown seems very powerful in legacy, more so than ancient grudge
@@GuyIncognito575 Deed is ok except when you need to clean up a bunch of zeros early. Maybe a split?
Im a simple Guy..I see Reid Duke i see Jund i press like👍
The mana of this deck seems like the weak link. Lot of mulligans and losses due to the colors not coming together right.
I would like to see a split between pyroblast and red elemental blast
Add that 0.5% edge against test of talents and extraction lol
@@mattm7798 its probably even less percentage than that, but all points count!

In 1080p mtg is kind of washed out. Hard to read the text on the cards...
If saga is so good why no melt down, seems better then deed idk what deed hits that meltdown doesn’t that matters
