I am disabled living with my wife mother in law father in law and brother in law. My wife is disabled and brother in law has autism. I wrote a book about having a disability called the battle of achieving normality. Despite the book having a great message, I lost my mother, father, sister, niece, nephew, and brother in law since I published the book. I ask God to help me with my physical pain and mental loss, no answer….. don’t give up trust in God

This was so comforting. Yes , I have had days were the events unfolding have been very difficult, days when I feel I can’t go another mile. And then I go straight to Jesus, and ask him for strength & to see all of this through his eyes , not my own. He is so faithful to pick us up , when we are down and feeling low. I long for his return , just as all my brothers and sisters in Christ are. I too am praying for unsaved loved ones. It grieves my heart that there are so many. Yes, the resurrection and then the rapture, happens 'immediately after the tribulation of those days'. Amen. We will be here on the earth during the great tribulation but those who endure till the end will be saved. Tribulation must come first but even so, come Lord Jesus!
1 Thess 4:13-18 occurs before the 7-year Great Tribulation period. Then look at 2 Thessalonians 2:6-8, the Antichrist cannot step upon the world stage, nor step into power until after the restraining presence of Holy Spirit within God's church is removed, because that passage shows that Holy Spirit is restraining the Antichrist, for now. When you read about the Rapture event, then read about Christ's second coming, there are many many differences. In the Rapture event God's people are going up to meet him in the air to go to be with him, but in the second coming, Christ returns to the Earth, "with all the saints," and stays there. It's a new Heaven and a new Earth and he & we stay there, forever... we don't go anywhere. Also no one knows when the Rapture event will occur, not even Christ knows....but the entire world will be warned by God's angel, just before Christ's second coming. There will be warnings given, as stated in the book of Revelation. The entire world will know it's about to occur, the entire world will be giving one last chance to repent. At the time of the Rapture event, it will be life as usual, like now, but at the time of Christ's second coming, the entire world is being destroyed, there is no commerce, no marriage, Christians are all being killed, the Antichrist is in power, etc.... There are many other stark contrasts between the two separate events, as well, and I have all of those typed out.

I’m looking up more and more each day and often say to the Lord , I don’t want to be down here anymore there’s nothing to look forward too. But God said it’s not your time to go I still have a work for you to do . I said what ? He’s said pray in the Holy Spirit . So I do ,not all the time but I am more sensitive to have him lead me to someone who needs a listening ear and word of encouragement ,esp to let them know Jesus is coming back soon. I think it helps them to know there is an end to our sorrow for living in this prison planet . And just being there with compassion in agreement yes it is very wicked here but we have heaven to look forward too. Words of comfort ,words of hope , a little giving as you are able too,a little pray . I find it lightens there load just knowing some one agrees with there pain but yet comforts them .

The teaching of Max Lucado has been a blessing to millions of people. It is sad to see him launching off into false doctrine in the guise of Christian encouragement. It seems the proclaimers of false doctrine never learn the valuable lesson: "Do not pretend you have it figured out, because you have it no more figured out than the thousands of false prophets who came before you!" When I became a Christian in 1971, thousands adopted the false message that Jesus would "rapture" His people by 1981 or by 1988 at the latest. Then came the turn of the century. Then came 2012. Then came . . . ! You name it! It is the perennial return of Christ to either rapture His church or to judge the world. Obviously, we now know they were proclaiming a lie and not the truth of God. It has been going on since the first century. The parables of Jesus in Matthew make it clear -- Be ready! Have oil in your lamp! Is Christ going to return in what we know of as "the Second Coming"? Absolutely! Is there a 1 1/2 coming before the second? According to contemporary false teaching, yes. The reason the Devil introduces false teaching into the church is that it initially creates a lot of excitement and even some conversions and a short term encouragement. But he has a long-term plan. He draws people away from the plain teaching of Scripture into speculation and when the speculation fails, he uses the misplaced faith to destroy trust in Christ and the Scriptures. Revelation 7:14 "I said to him, 'Sir, you know.' And he said to me, 'These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.'"

I’ve always heard many details about the rapture but I never heard 2 small (ENORMOUS) details Max mentioned here: the voice of the archangel is the voice of Michael himself, I thought it would be an archangel bit not THE archangel. And the other one is the last trumpet. I didn’t know the last trumpet in the OT was to leave; and that makes perfect sense with the rapture, we’ll be leaving. Thank you Max for this wonderful video. I am disabled living with my wife mother in law father in law and brother in law. My wife is disabled and brother in law has autism. Yes, 1 Thessalonians 4 :15-18 takes place at the end of the great tribulation. So patiently endure to the end. For the Lord keeps His promises without fail.
Yes, the resurrection and then the rapture, happens 'immediately after the tribulation of those days'. Amen. We will be here on the earth during the great tribulation but those who endure till the end will be saved. Tribulation must come first but even so, come Lord Jesus!

When you read about the Rapture event, then read about Christ's second coming, there are many many differences. In the Rapture event God's people are going up to meet him in the air to go to be with him, but in the second coming, Christ returns to the Earth, "with all the saints," and stays there. It's a new Heaven and a new Earth and he & we stay there, forever... we don't go anywhere.
Also no one knows when the Rapture event will occur, not even Christ knows....but the entire world will be warned by God's angel, just before Christ's second coming. There will be warnings given, as stated in the book of Revelation. The entire world will know it's about to occur, the entire world will be giving one last chance to repent.
At the time of the Rapture event, it will be life as usual, like now, but at the time of Christ's second coming, the entire world is being destroyed, there is no commerce, no marriage, Christians are all being killed, the Antichrist is in power, etc....
There are many other stark contrasts between the two separate events, as well, and I have all of those typed out.

I’m looking up more and more each day and often say to the Lord , I don’t want to be down here anymore there’s nothing to look forward too. But God said it’s not your time to go I still have a work for you to do . I said what ? He’s said pray in the Holy Spirit . So I do ,not all the time but I am more sensitive to have him lead me to someone who needs a listening ear and word of encouragement ,esp to let them know Jesus is coming back soon. I think it helps them to know there is an end to our sorrow for living in this prison planet . And just being there with compassion in agreement yes it is very wicked here but we have heaven to look forward too. Words of comfort ,words of hope , a little giving as you are able too,a little pray . I find it lightens there load just knowing some one agrees with there pain but yet comforts them .
This is such an exciting time to be alive for those in Christ. Come a Lord Jesus come!

I am in the same boat. No family, no real friends. Jesus is my friend. I talk to Him all day long. I, too, am in physical, and emotional, pain. Yet, Jesus is coming soon! I feel it. Just remember, before you pray, Praise Him! Then ask for help. When things look bad, Praise Him! Jesus said to have no fear. Try to remember that.

The teaching of Max Lucado has been a blessing to millions of people. It is sad to see him launching off into false doctrine in the guise of Christian encouragement.
It seems the proclaimers of false doctrine never learn the valuable lesson: "Do not pretend you have it figured out, because you have it no more figured out than the thousands of false prophets who came before you!"
When I became a Christian in 1971, thousands adopted the false message that Jesus would "rapture" His people by 1981 or by 1988 at the latest. Then came the turn of the century. Then came 2012. Then came . . . ! You name it! It is the perennial return of Christ to either rapture His church or to judge the world. Obviously, we now know they were proclaiming a lie and not the truth of God. It has been going on since the first century. The parables of Jesus in Matthew make it clear -- Be ready! Have oil in your lamp!
Is Christ going to return in what we know of as "the Second Coming"? Absolutely! Is there a 1 1/2 coming before the second? According to contemporary false teaching, yes. The reason the Devil introduces false teaching into the church is that it initially creates a lot of excitement and even some conversions and a short term encouragement. But he has a long-term plan. He draws people away from the plain teaching of Scripture into speculation and when the speculation fails, he uses the misplaced faith to destroy trust in Christ and the Scriptures.
Revelation 7:14 "I said to him, 'Sir, you know.' And he said to me, 'These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.'"
If you are in his world, this is a time of rejoicing. He is coming soon, Peace I give to you.
Little toddlers are getting messages that we are going up. People are having dreams and seeing visions of going up. The prophecy says we are going up. The Holy Spirit is sweeping over the world right now. There is a revival happening! The signs are in the heavens. Spread love and get ready. We are leaving soon!
My 4 year old makes all kinds of comments like this. It’s made me wonder.. he also regularly asks me to sing The hymn Soon and very soon

I’ve always heard many details about the rapture but I never heard 2 small (ENORMOUS) details Max mentioned here: the voice of the archangel is the voice of Michael himself, I thought it would be an archangel bit not THE archangel. And the other one is the last trumpet. I didn’t know the last trumpet in the OT was to leave; and that makes perfect sense with the rapture, we’ll be leaving. Thank you Max for this wonderful video. Read John 6:39,40 etc. Jesus is coming to raise us into new bodies at the LAST DAY, not at a day in the middle of anything. Jesus said 'last day', Paul agrees saying 'last trump;.

Trusting completely in the Lord through EVERYTHING, brings immense ‘peace’ and ‘comfort’ to our spirit…..not fear, worry or anxieties….those feelings are from the adversary not the Lord…. Full faith is crucial.
