Wow, that last Incipio case might actually look really classy with space gray (basically black). Trying to imagine how it would look if your Max was the space gray one, and it'd probably look like some traditional Japanese craft with that black to red fade and gold sparkles.
They both start at $1000 and even though the Note looks slightly better on paper, the iPhone performs better in the real world and handily beats it in benchmarks also. So, to me the Note 9 is overpriced because it has better specs, but can't hang with the iPhone.

I'm always worried if those phones don't get all scratched up on the sides when "slapping the cases on". My silver X got a ton of micro scratches just by switching the cases.

Man bro. My wife and I are really OCD and the misaligned cutouts for the XS drive us crazy. I need a case specifically made for the XS, because having that extra cutout on the bottom for the speakers that don't exist on one side of the XS and having the camera not centered is gonna drive me crazy

I took your advice and gave the iPhone a shot, and I have to say the Xs is a great phone. Just severely overpriced. Note 9 is a much better value
