The Lack of a heat pump in the new model unironically makes the old model the better car, as a heatpump is SOOOO much more energy efficient, without one you will notice a large mileage loss upon using heating, with one you will barely even notice any mileage loss.

Just got my 2 LR last week. Absolutely nothing you need missing from this car. Screen size works fine for Waze on car play. Performance is stunning I’ve not bothered taking it out of Eco mode yet. Car is quiet and comfortable. Best EV you can get under the govt. grant ceiling in my view.

@@angus04 just been out to the car to check and mine doesn't have any lumbar adjust. The fact that I had to check probably tells you that the seats are perfectly comfortable as is. I'm 6'4 and closer to 16st than I'd like and I do regular 4-5hr 200 mile runs in it without stopping. No problems whatsoever with it, its quiet, rides well, could be a bit more grippy but thats a tyres thing more than anything and its just a very easy car to drive long distance.

@@aniketsantani3912 I’m from northern England Aniket I can cope with a cold steering wheel and have natural insulation on my backside!!. Those, to me, are luxury items that haven’t made a huge difference when I’ve had them.
The thing that I would say, having gone through a prolonged cold spell with the car now, is the lack of remote/app pre-heating control on the 2LR model is noticeable in its absence. It does knock back the battery a fair amount having to rapidly heat the car up when it’s frozen. Being able to start the process remotely would be very useful.
Given that this is only going to be a factor a couple of weeks out of the year I’m not sure it’s a big enough problem, often enough, to make the extra spend on the 3 or 4 worth it. It isn’t for me. It does remind you you’re in the cheap version of the car though!.

The 4+ model has seat heating both in the front and back.
As for rapid charging, hmm, my 4+ can only do 55 kW/h. The dealership assured me that this is perfectly fine and they can’t do anything about it…

I leased my Niro EV EX premium last week, actually got one for my in laws and one for myself but there are some lack of features I'm not too happy about. Korean, Canadian, and European versions get LED headlights, some get surround view monitoring, and front parking sensors yet for US, even top trim model misses every one of those features.. I had to change headlight and fog lights with LED bulbs to remedy what I can but I'm not too happy with no front parking sensors nor surround view monitoring...
Driving wise it has been satisfactory...
I also just received 48 amp level 2 charger but Niro can only charge up to 32AMP speed...
