The saddest thing is that you could clearly see the the hurt and pain in his face but no one said or did anything.

I absolutely loved Tom Felton’s performance in Half Blood Prince. The movie was lacking focus on what the tone was. It was heavily focused on the dumb teen romance which was executed poorly, and the weird scenes that were meant as comedy, but were more tragic. HBP was my favorite book because it went in depth on Draco and Tom Riddle, two of my characters. In HBP Draco and Harry’s rivalry becomes more than what it was. Draco no longer is this small threat and one dimensional bully, he’s this pathetic coward who can’t complete his mission because he’s not evil. Harry obsesses over his suspicions thought his friends don’t think it’s plausible for Draco to be a red herring anymore after all these years of being incorrect. I wish this movie wasn’t so shitty because the acting, the score, the cinematography were so good and it’s a shame that this movie couldn’t be as great as it seemed it would.

Camera loves him in this movie. I mean, Tom has always been good-looking, but in HBP the angles of his face are just breathtaking.
Draco Malfoy hits differently in this movie.
As a Character, he grows and we see more in depth of the situations in which he is put in, forcing him to do things he wouldn't actually do.
Also yes, more in looks as well. More smoothed out hair and in a very nice suit.

In half blood prince and deathly Hallows you can't help but feel sorry for Draco. While it's true that he was proud for being chosen by Voldemort in the beginning he quickly realized that he was essentially trapped with no way out. And his parents were the ones who brought it upon him.
I just realized Draco is unusually focused on the Potions class due to his desire to get the Felix Felicis. For reasons you already know...

And even one day we were watching this chapter with my family...when it comes to draco I go out of the room and start crying and they noticed too! And that's why I never let them put it that chapter and I want to see and watch alone beacuse*I be crying all tha part!*
Ok so here's a quick recap of his life, as a child he had a smile on his face. Even if it was from making fun of people. You could tell he was happy in the first movie. In the second movie, he was slightly worse. His father seemed to neglect him and his father never loved him. He was disappointed in him for almost dying after falling off the broom. But once he became a teenager- his smile vanished. He became more broken than ever. He wanted to cry every moment. He did not want to hurt anyone. You could see how he was watching Harry his whole life. You could tell he was jelous of his friendships. Draco only had Crabbe and Goyle/ Goyle and Blaise- who were never true real friends. His whole life he had no one. When he was younger he would play with Dobby secretly in his room. Are you wondering how dobby knew so much about him when he had never gone anywhere but the Manor? Who do you think told him everything. But then when dobby left he was alone again. His whole life he didn’t want to be bad. When his parents called him over- you could tell he was waiting for someone to grab his hand and tell him to stop. He had no choice. He had no where else to go. He even made a cut on his arm to remove the dark mark. As an adult he was still broken inside. Especially after losing Astoria and almost losing Scorpius. His whole life he wished wasnt real. One scene he was standing on top of the astronomy tower looking down- thinking about committing. He didn’t want any of this. Tbh he deserved better :(

Dude I was on call with my friend watching this, and I accidentally skipped to the scene where Draco gets out of bed, and I raised a brow and asked my friend: “Who’s grippers are those?” And then I reminded it and started hysterically laughing because it was Draco’s grippers and I got jumpscared 😭 ✋ (I took a screenshot afterwards)

Draco deserved a better upbringing
For a character who really was supposed to be hated, he was more depressed and probably had a reason to be for what his family made him do and what he thought he had to do, so you can't *actually* hate him i guess. You kinda have to give pity on him.
He was realizing he didn’t want to be a death eater and it was killing him inside. It’s one thing to be a bully and hurt people but another to kill someone.

In this film (half blood prince) hes litterally having suicidal thoughts and no one cares! He litterally says "I think I'd pitch my self off the astronomy tower" and then blaise laughs! Near the end of the film we litterally see him hands just about holding on to the edge looking out of the tower! And everyones just gonna ignore that! Ignore that he's in pain! Y didnt he get a redemption arc!
