I am a volunteer in the Telecommunications section of a museum here in New Zealand. So I have enjoyed watching this and the secret life of telephones. With regards to radio there is a New Zealand radio development that Marconi used to make his receivers more sensitive before valves were used. Not many New Zealanders know that before Ernest Rutherford was known for his work in nuclear physics he was interested in radio waves. He made what was called a magnetic detector that was more sensitive then a coherer. Marconi took his work and made a magnetic detector based on Rutherford's work, it was nickname Maggie. In the James Cameron film "Titanic" you can see one in shots of the Titanic's Radio Room. Incidentally at the moment there is a discussion about whether a company should be allowed to salvage radio equipment from the Titanic.
My son loved watching this in the early noughties when he was just an ankle snapper, and now he cannot remember it! I did and loved the engineering involved.
This was a Great Series
Thank you for having it here 📽🎞📞📻📼🎥📺🖨
