1:34 When I was a curious kid I was intrigued by the wooden rice barrels with the heaps of rice displayed. I reached down and discovered these barrels are hollow with only a couple of inches depth of rice from the top rim. I believe these historic photos were found in Hong Kong public library archives. 1957 . I was landed in Kowloon , HongKong at age of 9 and stayed there until 1969. It was quite a different world then . Liked the cross harbor ferries and the double decked buses . I enjoyed riding them in later years as a young man . 👍🏻 ☕️🍰🍹🥮
🙂 Yes , I was born in 1947 , in the City of Canton , Republic of China , from an Italian Cantonese ( American ) family . Was living in Tol Kwa Wan area and once in the Maidstone Building in the early 60's and met the then very famous movie star Law Yim-Hing who also living in one of those units . Met her in person once . She parked her car, a two-tone color Pontiac sedan right outside of the building . I used took the double decked bus from Ma Tau Wai Road between Hung Hum and Tsim Sha Tsui . If my memory is correct , it was bus-line #5. During the late 80's , visited HongKong with my family, parents and my sister's family . I'd been in several countries and 43 States of the USA and would rather be stay home these days . 🙂 ☕️🍰🦕🦌🐇🐈

有些景像真的是消失得無影無踪，但有些永遠記存在腦海中，我在新界圍村長大，在六十年代初的時候，有人入村裏賣叮叮糖，賣藥材，修補洋遮，鹅毛鴨毛對火柴，染衫，賣藝(賣跌打丸） ，有尼姑.道士入村化缘，這段日子大家非常艱苦，現代的人幸福很多，非常感謝上一輩付出的努力，克苦，勤奮。

水坑口街，荷里活道文武廟，1964至1985年是我常到的地方。
看到木屐，小時候還沒有膠拖鞋出現，大部分人都穿木屐，記得當時灣仔道有一家木屐店，里面放滿五花十包的木屐，感謝老朋友，讓我可以重溫。
木屐係以前好常見鞋款，膠拖鞋未面世前，木屐係一種實用嘅鞋，仲係一種文化嘅象徵。行路時木屐與地的發出聲音，我兒時也穿木屐，真好懷念！

拍得很好, 有柯達菲林的味道, 先父說解放後本無邊界, 廣州人根本不想來港住因香港條件差, 香港日後的成功真是個異數
我有多位親戚在香港出世，戰亂前返上廣州避難，在戰後也不肯回港生活。

木屐是兒時記憶深刻的回憶錄，不知在那時候發生！今天的街市也絕跡了。
大部分行業不是消失一一而是式微。😊😊😊
街上行人多穿唐装衫褲，好有特色
1957年我出世，所以知呢首琵琶插曲名是『月兒高』多數配樂於月黑風高，有一位蒙面持刀刺客，在貪官富宅屋頂上進行刺探，得手後將D銀両用去刧富濟貧，睇十套九套都係咁嘅劇情，全靠出色嘅配樂。😃😆

木屐舖就真係無晒了。早十年前，街市豬肉佬仲有著，而家全部轉晒水鞋了。不過早兩個星期，竟然係銅鑼灣撞到有舖頭做織補，真係不可思議，而家仲有人會補返舊衫著。😅😅
