Hello I'm debating between AX53U and AX1800HP. Unfortunately, I have a hard time understanding you. My house is 3 stories, 8.5m x 4 but all the walls of my house are concrete and bricks. My router will be placed almost in the middle of the 2nd floor and will need to go through 1 or 2 brick and concrete walls to reach my primary workspace in the back of the 3rd floor. Between the AX53U and AX1800HP, which do you think will be right for me? Thanks!

Hi Juan, this ax53u is actually great, but everything has a limitation specially with house construction materials and actual range, if you are still having issues with range, i suggest you try the asus triband routers, their AImesh is the best for wireless backhaul try to check the zen wifi xt8 and xt12..
I just bought this sucker and attached it to my IPS router and installed the VPN on it and now my internet speed is not 100mb but about 17mb...like wtf? Do you know if I can solve this problem? Increase my internet contract from 100mb to 300mb? Or do you know any tricks?
@@JKChavez without the VPN I got my contract worth 100mb (around 115mb in reality). But I sent the router back and will now probably go for the AX58U or AX59U..also because the AX53U doesn't have VPN fusion. I am hopeful the AX58U or the AX59U will do the trick. I will also have 300mb internet starting the 1st of October..do you have any experience with the AX58U or AX59U?
Meron din po akong ax53u kaso di sya nakaka read ng mga portable hdd na walang power supply kahit 2.5inch lang. Ganon din ba sa ax53u mo sir? Or defective yung sakin?

Hi Dan, one of the reason po kaya minsan mabagal over 2.4ghz is dahil sa wifi interference with other wifi na 2.4ghz sa area mo po.. anung speed mo sa 2.4ghz at sa 5ghz?
@@JKChavez naka converge plan 50mbps po kami. Ang reading ng 2.4 ngayon is nasa 60 to 70. Then yung 5g doble po. Pero kahapon nireset ko sya and nag disable po ako ng wlan ng stock modem. Gumanda po ang bato ni 2.4
@@danbryanaustria4512 un, ganun po talga pag maraming 2.4ghz wifi sa area nag sisiksikan ung frequency nila, kaya minsan mabagal, tama po ung turn off ung sa default modem since sa new wifi router na kayo magconnect.. unlike sa 5ghz mas malaki available channels kaya less interference.. :)

Asus ax53u(ax1800) vs TP link archer 53(ax3000). I am confused since TP link has ax3000 compared to asus' ax1800 but asus has generally better routers. I am getting both for exact same price. Please help
I have not tested the ax53 of tplink. for my honest opinion, if you just need a wireless router for internet service or accessing the internet that ASUS ax53u is more than enough, if you have home media server\ NAS, that ax3000 will help help a lot for network traffic. now you are getting both at the same price, technically the tplink wins for its bigger bandwidth. (but in I am in your position I would still get the ASUS router, it is not that I am bias, it is just because i love ASUS mesh network)
actually ping command lang po sya.. open command prompt, ping a public ip or website para ma test kung may internet, pag may reply may internet pang timeout walang internet po.. sample.. ping google.com
how many devices are we talking about? if you have more than 25+ devices i would suggest getting better wifi router. 20+25 devices this would be okay and also great for gaming..
Hi, yes po, all routers umiinit lalo na kung gamit na gamit sya, and router lang na natest ko na nagka heat issue is ung from dlink r15, pag sobrang init nag drop ang mga connection, issue kasi nung dlink is nasa tabi ng window which is naarawan pala.. basta place mo lang router mo ng hindi kulob or hindi naarawan it will work fine..
Hey, JK need your help, I have a 4G,4G+,5G sim router: Huawei n5368x, it's an outdoor router, I need to place it on our roof, it own WiFi is good but after placing it on roof I will be needing a extra router or WiFi access point, which should I buy? We have around 100mbs of speed on 4G+ but after 5G launch(next year) we will get 1Gbps so kindly refer me a good router but range should be maximum as we have a big house of 1 kanal 4 rooms on 2 floors and need to use a single router for complete house
Hi, for my suggestion, i would definitely recommend this ax53u as one of asus entry level router. but if you have money to spare get the TUF ax5400. both should be able to cover the 2 story house , as much as possible place it on a strategic location like in the middle of the house if possible. but do consider that if you are farther away from the router, speed deteriorate, so a mesh system would also be good to consider to have the best speed in all area. (you can start with those ax53u and tufax5400 since they are aimesh capable).

I have not tested the ax55, but currently on review test of the rt-ax1800hp (looks the same with ax55). If you dont need 4 lan ports the ax53u is definitely a good choice and with the new firmware it is now capable of aimesh..
Hi Xpike, kaya po nya sa kaya, pero try to check by connecting directly sa modem-router mo po using a lan cable kung na aachieve mo ung 500mbps, kung nakukuha mo actual 500mbps, kayang kaya po nitong ax53u..
In terms of performance and coverage Mas okay si ax53u and at the same time wifi 6 router sya, , ang pinaka lamang ni ac59u v2 is mesh capability and cheaper compare sa ax53

@@JKChavez i was think the same, because the layout of the AX53U antenna more suitable for beamforming, but unfortunately Asus website didn't explain the antena dbi, and the AX1800HP has longer antenna. Anyway thank you for the feedback.

Hi, have let us try to isolate if the issue is coming from your VPN, if no vpn is configured and directly connecting to ax53u, what speed do you get?
