Being born in 1965, this brings back so many memories about TV and blacks. We were not represented on TV until Rodney Allen Rippy. God bless his mother for being so strong and focused. Thank you Rodney for changing the landscape. Thank you Flav, you are tearing it up!
My mother would be pissed taking me to the grocery store in the early 70s. White people kept pointing and screaming Rodney Allen Rippy! Rodney Allen Rippy! My mother would respond "Goddamn it! He's not Rodney Allen Rippy!" 😂
With all due respect, you start off with hitters like Tyson and ice cube, but I literally haven’t heard of half of your other guests. I think just focus on getting the hitters back you don’t have to put a podcast out every week.
@@pureblack3363 maybe there’s a few older people in California who know this guy, but hip-hop started in the East Coast, and the rest of the nation probably doesn’t know this dude. My point is that if you want your podcast to do well you got to get hitters on. And you don’t have to put a new episode out every single week if you can’t get decent guests. Even Flav could just talk about current news or his opinion on things. just look a his ratings are dropping dramatically.
