A mini-series, perhaps.
Horde night zombies are open to see in the xml files and depend on gamestage only. Cops make a preview appearance in GS 54, 59 and 79 and then they're on most from 147 onwards. Demos appear from 153 on most gamestages and generally have much smaller chance to spawn compared to other zombies.

You should put a blade trap upside down right in front of the bars. It would help to then out the number of zombies at one time.

A demolisher is going to chew through your bars like cookies. They do stupid high damage to blocks of 500 hit points with their normal attacks, and destructive 5000 hit points with a 5 blocks radius when they explode. My technique with them is to pop their heads off with my shotgun at first sight, being careful not to hit their bomb. And to help with that, I use the Shotgun Duckbill Mod that makes the spread horizontal instead of the normal round one.

You’ve been helping me learn a lot more about the game and of course I enjoy the series you bring. I can’t never wait for the next episodes of what’s to come. Thanks a lot man!
Glock... the spider monkeys were probably on those wood trims on the outside of the horde building. That's probably how they were able tho hit you. Just chop that off. Great series!! Keep up the whacking!

i have an idea for a series on 7 days to die. i call it the "Cave Hermit" where you survive as best you can with bare minimum items. and i add challenging rules as well.
Rules consist of:
Rule nr 1: you need to make a farm. have a sustainable farm til the second horde night and keep it sustainable.
Rule nr 2: no high powered guns, such as M60, Ak, etc. only guns allowed are Magnum revolver, Double Barrel Shotgun, hunting rifle.
Rule nr 3: make a underground zombie bunker that has at least a 3 layered wall and 4 layered ceiling, a cellar with an escape tunnel and a lot of primitive traps. (land mines are allowed)
Rule nr 4: NO POWER! no electrical systems or items allowed.
Rule nr 5: you HAVE to live in a cave. a naturally created cave in the desert. hence the name of the series, "Cave Hermit"
those are the general rules and the idea is fun. it is a serious challenge, but a fun one in my opinion. if anyone have other rules to add or any other idea to add onto this, please add them as a comment below :)

Hey G9 Dont forget that if you have a spare flame mod put it on the Sledge Turret and i think you need to upgrade the blocks opposite you where you stand for the horde to steel.

I struggled in my first playthrough, too. Your next one will be better, you'll know what to expect and how to do the early days better.
Every time you play, you'll get better
My advice in the beginning. First four points in cardio, lucky looter, healing factor and IF you don't find a working forge or schematic at the trader. Advanced engineering.
Also make yourself a stone sledge and stone shovel. It doesn't tell you that you can.

I did a horde defense in this building while raiding it. I thought if I knocked out stairs I could defend and be safe, not really caring how much damage they did to the building.
Until they literally took otut he entire center core, causing the entire center of the building to collapse up to the roof, taking my loot with it lol

Before every episode begins, I look at the preview for the end and if I see loot bags everywhere, I know he made it another night.
i can vouch for that the cabin setup works on demolishers we had 3 exploded on second pahse concrete blocks and it still stood after horde night. !! we run this setup and we are past day 31 on Darkness falls mod which is way crasier than the normal game! also u are doing so much self inflicted damage to ur bars and ur block with your shutgun. no wonder they break it down faster.
I'm watching these vids again, and I said "Why does he keep filling the blocks in?! He KNOWS that he's going to destroy them!".

That's 15min healing time for an 8min injury. Sprint a bit less, jump a bit less and you'll overall be quicker.

That Hotel looting was TIGHT, really got that on-the-edge feeling when ya looted it. Also, the reason Spider Monkeys got behind you was because of the wooden poles beside where you added the new blocks later. Shouldn't be a problem once you take those out!
Also also, I know this goes against your 7DTD Mantra, but maybe you could start using some electrical traps soon to push this series' record further? Nothing fancy, maybe just an electrical fence on the door so you can get more work done there?

Hey man, when I need iron like you I pick it up from taps or iron structures like in the houses. Sometimes I pick up to 1000 or 2000 iron bits from this when recycling and wrenching things. I complements well with iron ores.

Btw, healthbars from the vending machines are very nice for horde night if you get hit. It stacks I believe so you can heal from injuries much quicker
