Personally, I think he was rubbing in the fact that he hadn’t got the Heracross yet. This is why I don’t do SES anymore. If I get hacked eggs, I’m tempted to keep em’. Had no idea the shiny Galarian Farfetch’d I popped last time I did one was hacked until the video came up (I was on stream when the code went up and then left)

Totally agree, it's easy to make a legit competitive pokemon in this game that there is no need to hack
In my opinion hacked Pokemon are fine as long as they're mythical. I got a shiny Mew in a trade once, a Pokemon I would never got otherwise since Gamefreak are so anal about releasing mythical. I don't want to go on a road trip to a random store I may or may not even have in my country just to get a Pokemon once on a blue moon, or even worse buy a 60$ controller to get a Mew.
No it doesn’t. I have just as much fun genning. But I do my best not to trade to anyone who doesn’t know. And I still like to hunt for my shinies

If people hack 3 times one one game they should have there save data erased but if you get it from a trade the Pokémon should just be delete from the game

I hate when people think they are doing other person a "favour" by hacking in a shiny pokemon, it's boring, not fun at all and basically ruins the fun for everyone.
Whoever is doing this, please stop ruining everyone's game with your "favours" this is an event for aDrive and his community to do what they love and that's trade to see if they will get a shiny or a bingo.
Leave them be and do your own thing.

And there I was... A month on route 4, no shiny charm, no KO chain, just running from crazy Meowths, and one faithful day my eevee decided to shine, and I'd do it all again, of course I have the shiny charm now, just not the heart to knock out 500 eevees

Oh wow, seeing random eggs trade for other eggs brings me so back. My friends and I would do this all summer long back in the days of Gen 3, such good times never knowing what we'd get. If this is a regular thing, I'm so gonna tune in next Saturday for this.
I found a shiny gigialith in a raid yesterday, im on one console so this was like my only chance to get it... it broke out

Shiny fails are the worst. There’s been a few occasions in sw/sh when I encountered a shiny raid and ended up failing the raid. FeelsBad

Hacking a shiny 6iv eevee was wrong and how do you acctuly hack a heracross out of a egg thats level 100 moxie max mushrooms and a hacked 6iv hacking is very wrong

Regarding the hacked shinies, maybe don't even give them any fame by not including it in the SES video. Those trading out hacked shinies either think they are helping the community, or they want to get in your video and see you release the shiny.

It is funny that you had two different types of hackers in this video ... the first is one attempting to make it look legit (the Eevee) and one that said "F it, I don't care about legitimacy" (the Heracross). It isn't funny to trade hacked eggs, it isn't cute. All they are doing is proving they enjoy ruining things for others.

I was shiny hunting Krabby in Let’s Go Pikachu, and an Articuno spawned and I just couldn’t turn it down
I'd like to make a clear statement even though SES is no longer active for now: My eggs that i trade during the event are clearly not hacked, they hatched at lvl 1 with no held items, no dynamax level and no Pokérus. Best part is, it is not guaranteed to be shiny it is still the usual 1/512 chance

when i did the event a few weeks ago i sent out a bunch of my eggs leftover from trying to hatch shinies, some of which i might have walked with part of their time and when i got the shiny dropped them in. so i was confused at first when id heard you say they hatched early so they are hacked thinking maybe they couldve done that too. makes more sense now.

Colby __ I know. But if you rewatch some of his previous SES he just seems very bored. Even when he didn’t get hacked shinies he was bored. He got upset in one when he didn’t get a shiny which makes you think he only does it for the shinies. And when he had to trade an extra box last week he made people feel bad about it by constantly going on about how awful it was in this episode. If he is that bored by it when he started it he should just stop. That’s all I’m saying. I know it’s a great community activity and I love participating in it. But if he is that bored by every event he should stop.
He doesn't benefit from SES in the slightest.. he does that for the community, but he shows so much that he is bored

They are trying to troll you (evident through the heracross). So if you cancel the event they got exactly what they want

Funny thing is that someone could trade him a shiny egg and intentionally make it have bad stats and nature and make it to where it doesn't hatch right away and he'd be more likely to not see it as "hacked". My point being that there be know way for sure for him to know whether the egg was "hacked" or if it is legit and he just lucked out (Besides the lvl 100 heracross).

You can get ban from battling online and they can corrupt your save file. But I agree, people have their heads so far up their assets for a Mon they could easily just transfer and nothing will happen.

Due to the trading of a hacked pokemon (and technically stealing in some sense), I really think that the next couple SES will be the last SES because I'm pretty sure that there are hackers that wants to take part in the event but didn't make it so they'll go on the next one instead completely ignoring what Dan said.
This reminds me of how one of my cousins got a hacked shiny Cinderance, seismitoad, and zoroark from surprise trade.

The Pokemon took almost no time to hatch, it’s square sparkles normally, have very good IVs hidden ability and the heracross was also lvl 100 pokerus and holding an item

Square sparkles shiny eggs are 1/16 chance, whereas square sparkles in the wild due to shiny charm are 15/16 chance.
Also 6 perfect IVs, hidden ability are what people want most in their pokemon. You wouldn't hack a "meh" pokemon. Also eggs are LVL 1
Honestly, I agree with the guy on twitch, that dan is giving the people the attention by magnifying this topic. It's not nessecary that their name being declared is the goal. They just want to disrupt your stream and get your reactions.
Can someone tell how he knows that the shinies are hacked?
You can never really tell unless they are illegal (unobtainable shiny, wrong location, moves it cannot learn, low level in comparison to level up) but if they are really good (5/6 IVS, shiny, good nature, fully ev trained, etc.), you can assume they are hacked as it is very rare someone will just actually release their own hard worked for shiny.
Many of the hacked shinies have 6iv and are competitively bred
The fact that it's 100% iv, has pokerus (dunno how to spell that), hatches at lv100 and hatches with some max mushrooms is a bit of a give away

Title is click bait. You didn’t fail any shinies. You received hacked shinies and intentionally released them, and I understand why you did. I’d do the same. It’s still not a fail. A fail is finding a shiny legitimately and being unable to catch/keep the shiny due to k.o., accidental run, game freeze, forgot to save after catching, SR over it, etc.
At this rate hacked shiny should be a stamp to complete your bingo card

I think the person who had that caught a squirtle or its evolutions in sun and moon ir ultra sun and moon and transported it to SWSH. Just bred from there. The pokeball of the parent can be passed to the offspring except masterball. I'm pretty sure.

Doesn't an egg retain how many steps it needs left when trading? Just cause it hatches fast doesn't mean its hacked. Being 100 does lol

@@BearWith_You Dude, the Eevee was 6 IVs and Square Effect, with hidden ability to boot. Add in the steps, it was 100% hacked. Literally no doubt about it . . .
