If you know anything from the long history of the comics there have been versions of daredevil that was the joke in tight. Go back and look at the books from the 60s or even most recently. Even during the well-deserved celebrated Frank Miller run, there were times where he talked a little trash! Overall, he made that episode of she hulk very tolerable in comparison to the crap we’ve been fed the last several weeks. That’s why I tapped out after episode three and only came back to see how they would handle him. Admittedly, this was of the daredevil from Netflix. Nowhere near. That said, they treated him with a whole lot more respect than they did say, the Hulk! I suspect though that was because the writers probably got marching orders from people above them to not go to far with daredevil!

It's almost like art imitating life except the "toxic fandom" was created by the writers themselves by being such untalented hacks who cannot keep their politics and personal lives out of their jobs.
Most writers put their politics into their writing but there's a good way of doing it and the wrong ways. You need to blend them with the themes along making it fit with the character dynamics.
There's nothing wrong with making a statement in a narrative but when it's based on false narratives, hypocrisy, & straw man arguments then you're putting agenda over story. Horizon Zero Dawn, Last of Us 2, Fallout, Aliens, & dozens of other franchises all have strong sociopolitical narratives but are done correctly. The thing these "writers" don't understand is that goes both ways, you can't fight misogyny with misandry, racism with antisemitism/islamaphobia, homophobia with transphobia, etc. At that point you've lost all moral high ground.

If I was a writer of the show I would have had intellgencia destroy Jen's image as a hero and lawyer. In episode 3 Jen lets the wrecking crew go free and they cause massive destruction in another town so in the public eye Jen failed to capture dangerous criminals for no reason and in episode 4 Jen physically threaten donny blaze in order to win her case which is illegal for a lawyer. But writers are dumb as fuck.

I agree I like Charlie Cox as Daredevil, and he did raise the bar a bit for the show (although over the last few weeks that bar has buried itself into the ground). I thought Jennifer would be pissed at Matt for mansplaining her lawyer job to her, but instead he tries to teach her at least the basics of being a hero. But of course she isn't interested and just wants to get him in bed (she really is a word that rhymes with bore). I think Blonsky will be revealed as Hulk King, maybe he will try to use She-Hulk's blood to permanently become Abomination, a similar thing happened in the comic book when a second blast of gamma radiation made Jennifer permanently big and green.
To defend one single bit of the show- just one single bit- Jennifer is usually like this in her dating life. Kinda. Normally, in the comics, part of her character was that she dates around a lot and likes to party.

I think they got rid of the Accords because they were just too lazy to have the universe be consistent with it because by the accords half the phase 4 characters should be in jail.
In the comics, Eugene wasnt a villain his father was. His father was Leapfrog from Daredevil issue 25 in 1966. He fought Daredevil several times and was an inventor and he created spring coils which he used in his suit to do crime. Eventually he was caught and sent to prison and got reformed and when he got out is wife died of Cancer and she was the breadwinner of the family so he had to get a job and struggled to pay rent for him and his son Eugene. So Eugene decided to take up the mantle but be a hero called Frog Man. He actually caught a villain called Speed Demon which at first made his father proud but then he deidnt want him to continue doing it because of course its dangerous. Eugene would continue to fight crime though and even worked with Spider-Man a few times. Yes he was goofy but he wouldnt kidnap anyone nor have a villain like goon squad. So the writers twisted the history around but then again Im not surprised.
At this point, I like to imagine that Phase 4 is just Tony’s fever dream while he and Nebula are running out of oxygen in their spaceship. This whole failed experiment sounds like something a man who lost as much as he did would imagine in his final hours

Your reviews on Supergirl, Batwoman, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk have been some of the best content I have seen in a while, and they have gotten me through a lot. You definitely deserve more subscribers by a longshot. Also, not a big deal, but as far as Leapfrog being a villain goes, it is actually Eugene's father, Vincent Patilio, who was the supervillain Leapfrog (he used to fight Daredevil and was a founding member of the Emissaries of Evil along with Gladiator, Matador, Stilt-Man and Electro). However, Eugene Patilio decided to use his father's suit to become a hero named Frog Man to redeem his family's honor after Vincent retired. So in a strange turn of events, the writers were still able to screw up a heroic character regardless. It truly is sad what these writers are doing at this point with all of these characters...
"My ass remains unwhooped" still was funny because of Matt's smile when saying it. Like he was light-heartedly making fun of an angry toddler. Charlie Cox managed to uplift those couple of scenes by sheer charisma. Even if his character was quite a bit different. And even Tatiana seemed to act more convincingly thanks to him, in a couple of moments. If only the whole series was like that.

They character assassinated Daredevil. In the Netflix show, Electra killed many people, and Matt was against that, and tries to convince ,not to kill criminals . He'll even him and the Punisher were arguing about that! But when She hulk Dropped down on these criminals in the hallway.... All he did, was that he just face-palmed. However she knows if she follows the sukovia accords and exposes her name, not only will she be in danger but so will her entire family and any friends she is allowed to have. Maybe have her own family talk hate about the super heroine to really emphasize how oppressed women are there. No lawyer will take her case, so she talks to a friend about the problem. We hear ’s voice telling her “I’ve got someone you can call” Cut to a phone ringing on a nightstand, and Jen’s hand flaps sleepily over it “hello this is she hulk” Then get a competent person to write real lawyer/courtroom stuff. Then if they fail and she is going to have to expose her name Jen can tell her “I’m sorry I failed you but I’ve been working on something during this case. Let me know if you’re interested.” And hands her immigration papers for her family that are only a step away from being accepted. Boom! AMERICA, FUCK YEA! AND you get to have a diverse sidekick or just someone that can show up once in a while. I know how much these bad writers love their fake diversity so this might be too much as actual reasonable diversity.
As fun as it was watching Matt be a real lawyer vs. Jennifer's absolute ineptitude, I couldn't help but think like...this isn't how court works? Unless law suits for manufacturing defects work differently...like...you don't just have the lawyers and the clients bickering back and forth to each other from their seats and then the defense attorney asks the plaintiff a question...again from his seat and not while testifying on the stand or anything...then the judge is like "What's this?? Case dismissed!" The freaking People's Court has more structure.

There are no stakes. And it was obvious since the beginning. In a good show you may be quite sure that titular character won’t die, but his way of life, his psyche, his close ones and, most importantly, his infallibility is fair play. Consequences exist, and they are harsh. Here we’ve got zero of them. Being bad lawyer - you are rewarded for that. Being bad friend (wedding episode) - you are praised despite that. Being horrible superhero (it’s shown that she doesn’t care about human life multiple times) - you are getting away with that.
The writers don't appear to understand that most men never do the 'Walk of shame' unless the woman was a complete troll. If she was average or better, we do 'The Stride of Pride'... Probably a reflection on the dating experience of the writers room....

If the tailor was someone who made the Fantastic 4s outfits, i.e.: One complete fireproof, one stretchy and one that turns invisible same as the wearer, than ok, but She-Hulks outfit is just large size clothing, so anyone who knows how to make clothes can do it.
I think it's supposed to stretch and shrink when she transforms, so it can fit Jen and She-hulk, so it is kind of special in that regard, but as far as superhero outfits go, it's not nearly the challenge that making Reed Richards suit would be.

I don't know what to expect in the new daredevil series, but I have zero expectations
the funny thing is Doomcock would probably be the best villain in the MCU.

If I was a writer of the show I would have had intellgencia destroy Jen's image as a hero and lawyer. In episode 3 Jen lets the wrecking crew go free and they cause massive destruction in another town so in the public eye Jen failed to capture dangerous criminals for no reason and in episode 4 Jen physically threaten donny blaze in order to win her case which is illegal for a lawyer. But writers are dumb as fuck.

I agree I like Charlie Cox as Daredevil, and he did raise the bar a bit for the show (although over the last few weeks that bar has buried itself into the ground). I thought Jennifer would be pissed at Matt for mansplaining her lawyer job to her, but instead he tries to teach her at least the basics of being a hero. But of course she isn't interested and just wants to get him in bed (she really is a word that rhymes with bore). I think Blonsky will be revealed as Hulk King, maybe he will try to use She-Hulk's blood to permanently become Abomination, a similar thing happened in the comic book when a second blast of gamma radiation made Jennifer permanently big and green.

The Jennifer in this show seems to dislike being She-Hulk and is happier as a bitter, self-absorbed woman who drinks a lot (she spends more time in the bar than anywhere else). Maybe this is a bit of the writer's life coming into the show.
I think they got rid of the Accords because they were just too lazy to have the universe be consistent with it because by the accords half the phase 4 characters should be in jail.
In the comics, Eugene wasnt a villain his father was. His father was Leapfrog from Daredevil issue 25 in 1966. He fought Daredevil several times and was an inventor and he created spring coils which he used in his suit to do crime. Eventually he was caught and sent to prison and got reformed and when he got out is wife died of Cancer and she was the breadwinner of the family so he had to get a job and struggled to pay rent for him and his son Eugene.
So Eugene decided to take up the mantle but be a hero called Frog Man.
He actually caught a villain called Speed Demon which at first made his father proud but then he deidnt want him to continue doing it because of course its dangerous. Eugene would continue to fight crime though and even worked with Spider-Man a few times. Yes he was goofy but he wouldnt kidnap anyone nor have a villain like goon squad.
So the writers twisted the history around but then again Im not surprised.
Her suit looked like the suit someone would wear if they were on a professional dodgeball team

When the accords were revealed to have been repealed off screen I rolled my eyes. They no longer hire writers with any talent its just cameo central now.
Well I am kind of GLAD they did it that way. These “writers” couldn’t handle the Accords decently and I’m glad they didn’t even try.

Your reviews on Supergirl, Batwoman, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk have been some of the best content I have seen in a while, and they have gotten me through a lot. You definitely deserve more subscribers by a longshot. Also, not a big deal, but as far as Leapfrog being a villain goes, it is actually Eugene's father, Vincent Patilio, who was the supervillain Leapfrog (he used to fight Daredevil and was a founding member of the Emissaries of Evil along with Gladiator, Matador, Stilt-Man and Electro). However, Eugene Patilio decided to use his father's suit to become a hero named Frog Man to redeem his family's honor after Vincent retired. So in a strange turn of events, the writers were still able to screw up a heroic character regardless. It truly is sad what these writers are doing at this point with all of these characters...
"My ass remains unwhooped" still was funny because of Matt's smile when saying it. Like he was light-heartedly making fun of an angry toddler.
Charlie Cox managed to uplift those couple of scenes by sheer charisma. Even if his character was quite a bit different. And even Tatiana seemed to act more convincingly thanks to him, in a couple of moments.
If only the whole series was like that.

The Sokovia Accords were “repealed” because, like the five-year “Blip,” modern MCU writers aren’t talented enough to incorporate them into their story in any meaningful way without damaging continuity, so they were thrown out the window to be completely ignored.
They character assassinated Daredevil.
In the Netflix show, Electra killed many people, and Matt was against that, and tries to convince ,not to kill criminals .
He'll even him and the Punisher were arguing about that!
But when She hulk Dropped down on these criminals in the hallway....
All he did, was that he just face-palmed.

Doctor Strange took a backseat to Scarlet Witch and America Chavez, Thor took a backseat to "Mighty Thor", Black Panther is gonna be about Shuri and Shitty ass nobody likes at all Ironheart, and She Hulk had our boy Daredevil doing a walk of shame and taking a backseat to her too. Phase 4 MCU has been DOA ever since that one scene in Endgame. The only movie that was good was No Way Home. No feminism, no SJW nonsense, just fricking Spiderman. But as of right now, Phase 4 is just a "I'm a female so I develop faster, perform, and save the world better than the males do".
Imagine for a moment an episode of she hulk:
A super heroine based in (what some love to call a bastion of feminism) iraq.
She has been saving women from “honorable deaths” and struggle snuggles that didn’t have at least three male witnesses to testify against the snugglist.
However she knows if she follows the sukovia accords and exposes her name, not only will she be in danger but so will her entire family and any friends she is allowed to have.
Maybe have her own family talk hate about the super heroine to really emphasize how oppressed women are there.
No lawyer will take her case, so she talks to a friend about the problem.
We hear ’s voice telling her “I’ve got someone you can call”
Cut to a phone ringing on a nightstand, and Jen’s hand flaps sleepily over it “hello this is she hulk”
Then get a competent person to write real lawyer/courtroom stuff.
Then if they fail and she is going to have to expose her name Jen can tell her “I’m sorry I failed you but I’ve been working on something during this case. Let me know if you’re interested.” And hands her immigration papers for her family that are only a step away from being accepted.
Boom! AMERICA, FUCK YEA!
AND you get to have a diverse sidekick or just someone that can show up once in a while. I know how much these bad writers love their fake diversity so this might be too much as actual reasonable diversity.
So the best line in the series is Daredevil "man-splaining" being a super hero to She Hulk🤣🤣🤣

As fun as it was watching Matt be a real lawyer vs. Jennifer's absolute ineptitude, I couldn't help but think like...this isn't how court works? Unless law suits for manufacturing defects work differently...like...you don't just have the lawyers and the clients bickering back and forth to each other from their seats and then the defense attorney asks the plaintiff a question...again from his seat and not while testifying on the stand or anything...then the judge is like "What's this?? Case dismissed!" The freaking People's Court has more structure.
lol yeah. They really have no idea how court works at all. You'd have to bring in expert witnesses to testify to the liability and fault in the design.
The writers said they don't know how to write courtroom scenes and they weren't kidding.
I'm shocked that they had the self awareness to admit it. Usually that takes about six months and the show being panned for that kind of honesty.
There are no stakes. And it was obvious since the beginning. In a good show you may be quite sure that titular character won’t die, but his way of life, his psyche, his close ones and, most importantly, his infallibility is fair play. Consequences exist, and they are harsh. Here we’ve got zero of them. Being bad lawyer - you are rewarded for that. Being bad friend (wedding episode) - you are praised despite that. Being horrible superhero (it’s shown that she doesn’t care about human life multiple times) - you are getting away with that.

If the tailor was someone who made the Fantastic 4s outfits, i.e.: One complete fireproof, one stretchy and one that turns invisible same as the wearer, than ok, but She-Hulks outfit is just large size clothing, so anyone who knows how to make clothes can do it.
I think it's supposed to stretch and shrink when she transforms, so it can fit Jen and She-hulk, so it is kind of special in that regard, but as far as superhero outfits go, it's not nearly the challenge that making Reed Richards suit would be.

Daredevil's yellow costume is like when spidey wore a black and red suit or Star Lord's movie characterization, it might be truer of the original vision, but the final product is Superior!

When she killed the guys in thw hallway by dropping the ceiling on them, she could have just as easily killed Daredevil, she just went in all reckless, she had no way of knowing who was under her.
I don't have a problem with Matt sleeping with Jen.
But in the Netflix show, when he slept with the Claire, Karen, and Electra... each chick he built a bond/relationship with them. And it wasn't a 1 night stand sort of thing like this. Seems out of character of the guy to just f*** and bounce lol

leap frog is not called leap frog in the original comic. he's called frog man. yes he's a bad guy but that's the father. the son is a good guy and serve as a comedic relief and also the side kick of Spiderman. he's not an asshole. he's a good kid, a nerd, just like Spiderman but the creator of this show aka hecks ruined him just like any other D list characters they bring up in their show.
