An adventure bike group followed us later in the day and they took several hours to reach the southern end. Apparently when it was used for the Welsh two day enduro the riders were making it in under half an hour!
Great vid, looked like you had a great day. Me and 3 others are visiting the on the weekend and are taking vans with the bikes in but are stumped as to where to begin due to parking. I've seen the post code in the description is the Abby, is this where you parked before beginning your ride?
This was recorded as part of a ride from John o' Groats to Land's End, so no parking was needed. I think parking near the abbey is a good idea, though be prepared as there are deep holes in the surface and very little mobile phone reception should you need assistance.
Thanks for the swift response. John o'Groats to Lands end!! that's some good going, I can only imagine the enjoyment! Thanks for the heads up, this will be the first time all four of us have ridden together so we'll have a good brief up before as the excitement will be peaking, and will also factor in the nearest buildings to the route in case of emergency. Fingers crossed it'll be a good day. Best regards, Mal
It was interesting to see the detour as iv never been up the floristry tracks. Also nice to see the lane done at speed it takes hours in the camper.
