What I hate is that Stephanie was perfectly fine with letting an innocent man go to prison for a crime he didn't commit. So much for morals. People hate Brooke for stealing a husband. But when Stephanie railroads a man into murder, those same people become silent
Great stuff 👏👏👍Thank you for posting !! The writing was perfect. My only complaint is that it deserves to be an hour. I was aware & an occasional viewer of B&B but then full time viewer once Sheila Carter crossed over from The Young & the Restless.
I miss this kind of writing. It does deserve to be an hour, BUT, some part of me also thinks maybe that's helping it survive when a lot of other shows that had legacies of their own have been pulled off the air. And yeah, honestly? I liked Sheila early on on Y&R, but ever since then I find her a LOT more interesting and possessing a lot more depth than on Y&R where it's just like IMMA GET YOU THIS TIME LAUREN. The B&B writers know how to write good stuff for the character and for Kimberlin.
What is bad about this scene is, I have seen this episode probably 100x. I can't think of 1 episode of B&B in the last year that I would rewatch. Ever. That is so sad. The show is not even a shell of itself.
Ridge was so in love with Taylor and not Brooke that he would put her kid's freedom over Taylor? He loved both. No man is sacrificing for a child that is not his if he does not truly love the mother. Stop with the delusions..
@@daniellak.7521 dude, I have no delusions because unlike you I acknowledge FACTS and the facts are that during that time Ridge was chasing Taylor all over the place while he could have easily been with Brooke who he kept rejecting over and over again even after she and Grant were over.. and as for the “child” Ridge sacrificed himself for - do you not remember or are you just pretending?? At that time Ridge and Rick thought they were brothers so I’d say that’s a pretty good reason

Ridge was more like a fatherfigure to Rick until he became a young teenager wanted his parents back together. When Brooke was engaged to James Warwick he had difficulties bonding with Rick because Rick only accepted Ridge as father figure next to his biological dad. Things changed when Rick wanted his parents back together and the kid saw the dance Ridge has been doing between both women. After chasing Taylor Ridge started chasing Brooke while she was with Grant which left Taylor sad and furious. Once he was done chasing Brooke and realized Thorne was making his moves on Tayloer he went after Taylor again.he has been doing this dance for decades. It stopped with Thomas being born. And even after that he refused to cut Brooke out of his life although Taylor asked him how many times? The FACT is that he loved BOTH NOT ONLY TAYLOR BUT HE CHOSE TAYLOR OVER BROOKE BACK THEN. TAYLOR WAS HIS FIRST CHOICE BEFORE DEATH BUT AFTER RAISING 5 KIDS UNDER THE SAME ROOF WITH BROOKE DURING HER ABSENCE THE DYNAMIC SHIFTED.
@@daniellak.7521 first of all, Rick isn’t Thorne, second of all, it’s not that Ridge didn’t care about brotherhood, he tended to put it aside when there was some crisis between them but during the time of the shooting Rich was so just a kid was in great terms with Ridge and even wanted him to be with Brooke not Eric.. also, stop making stuff up, after Taylor came back the first time, Ridge choose Brooke only because of the kids as he said himself and since he left Brooke having seen her kissing Grant, he never chased her at all, he kept rejecting her and was only into Taylor even before Thorne got into the picture and no, it didn’t stop when Thomas was born , Ridge kept going after Taylor until she told him she was pregnant with Thorne’s baby to which he reacted by crying his eyes out and biting the crap out of Thorne.. only then he went to Brooke who later on found out about Thomas and spent months lying and scheming along with Thorne to keep the secret because she knew damn well that he was with her only because of that and would go back to Taylor when he found out which he did

I am not making this up, you just forgot about that. These and many other things (especially seing Ridge in bed with Brooke when she wanted to tell him about her pregnancy ,but Ridge and Brooke did not make love) lead to Taylor lying about Thomas in the first place. After clarifying that he chose Taylor, which I never denied. During their marriage Brooke was an issue. Taylor asked him very often to cut Brooke out of his life. He refused. Thorne ended his marriage to Brooke prior to all of this because he walked in on Brooke and Ridge in big bear admitting that they will always have feelings for each other. Again he put Brooke first AFTER Taylor's second death which is quite frankly natural since Taylor was gone for a long time and Brooke and Ridge actually raised those kids for a decade together. RJ was a factor that was not there before. That is all that I am saying.

Stephanie and Ridge was willingly to put innocent guiltless and blameless victim Nick into prison for crime he didn't commit. Even to make public statements against Nick when they knew he was innocent guiltless and blameless man of say crime. Then , Stephanie had strangle Brooke with phone cord to stop her from getting truth out. Stephanie is much more worse in being dangerously untrustworthy than Brooke with no ifs nor buts about it! First thing that Stephanie does is being dangerously violent untrustworthy attacker in multiple of attempted criminal murder crimes to get her way that is definitely way much more worse than Brooke in all of these decades!

I like that you recognize that. I love Stephanie but I still especially like the dialogue and both ladies' acting in this scene. Good stuff.

another rewrite - Ridge took the blame for Grant not for Brooke, but only for Rick! Ridge was totally into Taylor at the time, not Brooke
