Nice Video. There is also a 6.5 inch version of the Nomad soon to be released for those who prefer bigger blades

@Duncan i got both but to be honest i prefer the shorter blade

@Duncan it is fine for choping but the longer blade is better just for that. But the long Version is alot heavier and exhausts your arm noticable faster.
If you have another shorter blade, go for the 6.5 if you need one blade to do everything stick to the shorter nomad.
Oh and Look up how to sharpen a convex edge if you dont know that already

Thanks for the rev. I'm considering this blade. Take some 220 grit wet/dry sandpaper , put on a dust mask , and sand that micarta so you get a matte finish. Don't breathe the shit in. You will like the grip a lot better. Done this to many knives , including $300+ Bark Rivers. No problem with being so slippery anymore. Works on micarta and G-10 equally good.
Knife looks like basically a stainless BK-2. I'd rather have this : already convexed , better than nylon sheath , better handle and reasonable price. Thanks man. Pete

Joker is so great. My nordico is easily the equivalent quality of a 300+ dollar American made knife

Hello, would you say that this knife has a too blunt tip to be valid for self-defense?

    • @KnivesSurvival

Any knife can be used for self defense. But there are better ones for that role.

@@KnivesSurvival okay thanks. I'm thinking of buying it but I read a couple of comments about this and it made me doubt. But I'll probably end up buying it because it's a nice knife

This blade shape IS NOT unique in the knife industry as you state. It's called a 'Straight Clip Point' profile blade with a Convex Plain edge. It has Smooth Micarta scales which do grip very well when wet. Please learn knife terminology if you are going to review knives.

Oh Boy did I miss gender the knife..also there are not many if any with this blade shape.

Plus the Manufacturer lists it as a drop point..and the whole video is nothing but Knife Terminology...
