All this money generated went to the label as he was already paid for it. This is some contractual obligation dead or alive you gotta respect it. Nobody wanted to milk him or whatever they just wanted their money back it’s as simple as that. Nothing with “not caring” or just “wanting his money”, they simply wanted THEIR money. Now could they have done a better job picking features? probably. but there’s a lot that goes into that, having to go through the other artists labels, getting stuffed cleared etc. but in my opinion BVF is decent. & even before they dropped it i wasn’t expecting it to be perfect like his previous albums bc he’s literally not here.
