- Soun of Ogbomoso's Throne Tussle Between Amao Oyetunde and Oke Lanipekun (Orumogege II)
After the death of Baálẹ̀ Afọlábí Oyèwùmí Ajagungbadé II, Oyèkọ́lá, the eldest son of Baálẹ̀ Láoyè Àtàndá Òrumọgẹgẹ, was elected as the next Baálẹ̀ by members of Láoyè ruling house and approved by the British authorities, but died two days before his installation.
Some members of Láoyè family with the full support of the kingmakers and British Officials approved the appointment of Àmàó Oyètúndé, Oyèkọ́lá's son, as the next Baálẹ̀ in place of his father in 1940 against the wishes of other members of Láoyè family and the Ògbómọ̀ṣọ́ progressive elements.
This issue led to them to legal tussle for the throne.

This is a great documentary, a much needed documentary. Oyètúndé Àmọ̀ó was not a bad person, just that his uncle had more rights.
