I got him in his rerun in August and was ecstatic to get my first EX, who also happened to be one of the most broken in the game. Now he has so many counters and I guess its better to play him more carefully than before. I used to hate this unit cus all my blue units got one shot by him 🥲but am thankful I got him 😭 Iam only afraid to face albert with him, feels like I can even handle zoro.
Get better at using him and both Zoro n alber will become clowns
You can actually clap Zoro and Alber just get good at using him, his ATK stacks can still oneshot and if you mastered the perfect dodging you won't be even afraid to fight everyone even if they take your Haki State.

A liquid shanks no diffs any unit other than zoro 😂 and alber if you get hit with his skills
As someone who made it to SS league using film red shanks, its hard to play with him now, if you want to not die with film red shanks, you can’t play like zoro or gear5 cuz he can be killed so much easier, in conclusion if you want play with film red shanks, you must play very tactical and aware, but at one point it becomes annoying cuz you wanna also have fun in the game.Many characters can one shot shanks such as alber(with flames on his back), zoro, luffy, roger and even akainu. His normal attacks are slower compared to other characters.i hope he gets a buff soon

Against Albert you better use haki state and hit him with normals in order to remove the flame he will get stunned imediatly and with your haki state you will get 50 percent damge reduction

Play like a coward, avoid Ex-Zoro as much as possible, slowly but surely stack his attack, and don't fight with Roger, he will own him easily with skill 2.

Probably your gameplay style...you need to set him in the game at start....always engage in combat after getting those attack buff...by hitting someone once or twice

In that case, I'd say shanks is arguably still broken despite this many counters but they deliberately made him sustainable by making him dethrone downplaying to make cheap shots to blue units & Fury, technically they should nerf Alber too by adding more blue ex/bfs, donno why people ain't afraid of him like he's literally unfair to many units, everytime I use Alber it's Same as when fr shanks came out except he's a glass canon

They counterd shanks into the ground as someone who just got him on his last return, if you still think shanks is op or have issues fighting him you are probably garbage at the game, no other unit has this many counters
if you're not playing one of his counters then you're pretty much dead how tf is that a skill issue. shanks is still broken just because there are units who can actually have a chance of fighting him now doesn't mean he's bad he can still kill all of his 'counters' if he has enough atk stacks, you just need to play him carefully now. shanks players love whining about how hard they have it try playing a blue unit that isn't klaw against him and then tell me if it's a skill issue lmao
also have you ever heard of akainu? he must have at least 20 counters but ok, I guess you shanks players still have it the worst :(

@@raziel9660 he fell hard he need a lot of practice and bieng careful when using him, his haki state was what made him a demon now that some unit can easily remove it or bypass it effect that kind of his down fall coz without is he is kind of an egg and most of shanks players buff him with only attacks the don't want to buff his def

He’s really useless unless you spend 70% of the match running away. He’s really nothing without haki state. Takes 2 and a half minutes just to build up your atk if you don’t die.
