Stylized cliff / rocks quick tutorial in Substance Designer

  • Here I try a format that is between a timelapse and a narrated video. Not sure if it's a good idea. So, not exactly a step by step tutorial this time.
    I'll then try to build a small stylized mars scene with this material and one or two others.

    Thanks for the tutorial. It looks really good and i could replicate it pretty well. Still kinda new to SD but i'll definitely check out other videos from you to get more of a grasp of your workflow for creating stylized materials.

    Hmm, my height map isn't working anything like this. I've turned on tesselation, but the rocks are much flatter anyway. I can't work out why it's so dramatically different

      Oh, maybe you should check my video about displacement. It's explained. It's a bit old now, things have changed but it should be fine.
