One day I’m going to officially have watched ALL of Tim’s older videos. Once I do that, I won’t have anything else to do with my spare time. That’s going to be a sad, sad, sad day. At least I’ll still have Tim’s NEW videos to look forward to, I suppose. Anyway, keep the awesome collection, and content up Tim, and cameraman! #GrandIllusions #TimToys
Tim thinks there are over 20,000 toys in his collection. However some cannot be easily filmed - looking down kaleidoscopes, toys that depend on stereo vision, etc, and also toys that are really quite similar to other toys (don't want to bore you!) so we are doing a filtering process as we go along.
Would this effect be because of the first buble slowing down due to displacement of the liquid ahead and the second speeding up due to the vacuum of the one in front?
if you put that in the refrigerator for a while and let it cool down, will the bubbles move more slowly? i'd like to see that thing working in real-time slow-mo
I love how Tim brings his engineering background into his presentations.

If i had one of these i would just stare at it for hours
I used to do this all the time with a bottle of gel shampoo. It was great fun to watch.
lots... Tim thinks we have done maybe 20% of his collection so far.
Bubble physics. Can I go to school for that? I want to major in bubble physics.
Damn it. So do I now.
I'm a bubble physicist. I'm glad you guys are interested about bubbles
It's called "Fluid Dynamics" and yes you can study it.

I'm baffled he remembers who made most of them, when, and where he got it.
I still have 2 of those in my living room - 1 is still working - the second was dropped by the kids & developed a hairline fracture:(...
where do you get them from?
Get two cameras and put it up using youtube's 3D function! That'd be something really great to see!
really cool physics demonstrating toy
Wonderful I had this toy when I was a kid, it was only thiner
Imagine if there were an LED light at the bottom, so you could look at the luminous bubbles in the dark.
No relation, we are just friends and colleagues.
I have something like this. It's like a baton that just uses water and sparkly pieces. Even with water, it's still fun to watch.
I'm more mesmerized by this than I should be o.o
i think the first bubble is increasing the velocity of the liquid beneath so the second bubble tend to hit the bubble in the front !
I'd like to see what happens at the top if a few needles where placed there to puncture the bubbles as the arrive.
I am sure that, as a collector and professional, he also writes down notes about them somewhere.
Kinda looks like colliding stars. You'd think it would blow up, but it doesn't.
It's like a lava lamp you don't need to plug in. Extraordinary.
its a good thing i don't have a desk job...it would just be covered in stuff like this..
I want one...I'd watch it for hours.
Don't let me watch any more of these, I need to go to sleep!

Do you happen to know where I could buy one or is this an old toy in which they aren't made anymore? I need a reasonable price of course.
love you channel ... it makes me so happy to hear you say this
Cute colors!

This guy for the next Q off James Bond
These were all the rage in the 90s.
Weird how the big bubbles absorb each other but don't touch the little ones
I believe it's filled with silicone oil...
what its so good there are many toys for us to see,aha im excited
Wow. I want one. I NEED it.
This is the reason I liked clear bottles of soap. lol
Extraordinary
Lol, great toy but not for someone with OCD.
That's easy. He's a collector.
I'm sure when he stores it, it has a note saying such things :P
Is that Mercury?
how many toys until you run out?
I can easily put 2 hours staring at that.
sería maravilloso que tuviera traducción al español (por lo menos;subtítulos).👌
So... around 1500 toys ?
Just get a bottle of liquid hand soap. same effect.
I wonder if that's drafting.
"highly entertaining"
WHERE CAN I BUY THAT!!?!?
are you related to Tim?
OOOOOO I had one of these!! :D
wooah just 20%? :O
Where can I get one?!
corn syrup?
OH MY GOD !
First view, not first comment :D
Please be my grandpa
Dear God...
Why do all the comments have very a little amount of likes...
0.o bubble physics
more or less 9000

That's fucking preposterous.
