She found out that a mother would do anything and sometimes say the wrong things when protecting their child. She realizes that when she had to start trying to protect her own children. She didn’t hate her mother. However, once she figured out her mother was right and once she found herself in more trouble, she should have reached out to her mother. This mess was too big for her to handle and clean up on her own. And she had 2 separate messes! Naming her mother as guardian, proved she didn’t hate her mother. They had a marvelous relationship until dad died and they fell out over teenage drama.
LOL - D.E.I. Concepts all over this. It has a decent plot, but when you can see the director literally hitting the checkboxes, it’s distracting and hard to take seriously anymore. Hey, if it had been American, there would very unlikely even be an Asian actor - but as soon as I saw her, I wondered, “So when is the gay character going to show up?” * cough *
