Just left from there!! Had an awesome time. Most definitely will be back next year.
Been there since Wednesday and just got home around 12:40 .. 3.5 hour drive.. I definitely miss living in North Myrtle Beach..
Being from South Carolina I been about every year I graduated in 93 seinior weekend was lit no baracade every street was open 2 lanes no sleep for 3 days the lock lane couple years they had that shooting police couldn’t get there I will never get tired of bike week annual event for us
The first time I went was in '99 and through the years. It is not the same. Eventually I stop going.

Why they put all them barriers and stuff up I just left from down there I day after being there a whole week for the ralley and none of that was there lol
Harley week happens in a much smaller area. ( Murrell's Inlet ) The second rally happens on a long narrow strip. The barriers are there to stop pedestrians from wondering into the street. As far as the law there's quite a few during Harley week. There's a group of them at every biker bar and a few on patrol. There's more during the second rally cause there's way more people. I've lived here 10 years now. And there's a shooting this weekend EVERY YEAR!!!! That doesn't happen during Harley week. Yes Harley week has it's share of crime just without shootings. That also could be a reason there's more cops this weekend. A few bad apples come down here and ruin it for everyone. No fair but it's truth.
See shooting last night around 300 block with life threatening injuries. And y'all wonder why the locals hate this weekend???
It don't take being an asshole to patrol or conduct traffic. BLACK Bikers Week, they (Police) are instructed to seek violations and its the only time you will see these barricades up. They're digging in your pockets by 3x hotel price gouging, claim "Holiday prices" but don't charge the same for 4th of July, Labor day, Christmas, Good friday COMBINED!.. White folks angry bc they want it to go away, but city council knows its their cash crop. All roads leading to Black Bike week towns get paid; speed traps, gas/food purchases. Hell I got locked up for cruising!..When I tried to explain to the po-lice that I just left my hotel getting in my car. He wanted to club me saying I was resisting arrest... WTF ! That shit will never happened if I came for Harley Week.

Wasn’t a problem for you when stores, restaurants, buses, bathrooms, water fountains, swimming pools, schools, food, etc had signs that said “Whites Only”
