I enjoyed this the first time I watched it in the event; I didn't expect Skrivers to win having previously watched his opponent in a previous episode and being impressed enough to remember him. Skrivers is a tough guy with great heart
Welldone to the coaches. Anybody can get terribly hurt with karate and they made the right decision to protect there fighter for another day Welldone to the champion he is good
Champ showing some pretty good in fight, always defending, coming close and sending some mean hooks, very entertaining fight, hope whatever happened to the Russian dude isn't serious, he too was very nice to watch
The timing, the way they hit, it s not like boxing, it resides from karate.. You see hooks and lowkicks and think it s not from karate? All of the tehnique they use is from karate.
This happens because in karate training the movements are very technical, such as kihon and kata. But in a fight (kumite) what matters is the efficiency of the technique. Basically that's it: in training you do well, in fights you do what works.
The karate is a failure and the proof is that Kombat Karate !! You see the best thing in hand boxing style! You don't watch karate! You are watching kickboxing
If you have done karate, you learn the way and the basic elements of movement and kicking techniques, straight punching theoretics, stances, balance also, sometimes better and more original way than in kickboxing, practicly kickboxing grew out from karate and boxin. This is more like a kickbox match, yes, but I can see,how karate comes into this. And I know what benefits I earned from shotokan, and I can recognize it in their movement, and I can see difference between a kickbox -stance and kickbox match and this...
Tebuev has more karate stance than Skrivers with highboxing guard. Tebuev lets Skrivers stand too close to him he cannot win fighting that way. To make a stance like the karate one work you need control over distance. Stephen Thompson uses in mma by keeping people off of him with sidekicks to the body.

The guy in the black seems to have a background in boxing and I think that's a good mix with karate.

2 wheel kicks is quite a message to send to your opponent 3 rounds in. I love it!
Edgards -Mind technique and power!
Мырза Бек чемпион мира 2023👏👏👏💥
Love the Dr. Doom reference from Bas Rutten.
Мырза хорош , только если на расстоянии работал бы то вообще убил бы его брат , топим за тебя 👊
These ShotoShioWadoryukans are extremely cool, but where are Kyokushin and Ashihara? Where hard law, Brazilian mawashi and severe blows to the liver?
He is a Champ
Damn, they're buff AF!
Почему Мирза не бил его прямым в живот и не отбивал лоукики когда Скриверс стоял прижав руки к лицу?
Ko có đòn khóa tay, vật các kiểu à?
Edgar is a nighmare for anyone
A mây zing god
Провел два боя и уже золотой пояс?

Латыш молодец!!!! Хорошо раздал.
It doesn't seem like the components you learn in karate

@@GabiClaudiu1102 well there is a possibility that they cross train.
