- I love watching face cams to see how idols perform their song throughout right down to the facial expressions. ATEEZ are really great at this and I've seen all their face cams so I pulled out a mega compilation of my fave moments.
I have a feeling this will get a copyright strike but we'll see...
I'll probably make one with fancams in the future since there's so much more material but I'll likely divide those up by member and/or maybe even era
San might be the most versatile idol out there, like the way he portrays the emotions and vibe of every song perfectly is just amazing. He goes from making that devilish smile on Deja Vu to basically crying on Inception to pouting and being all cute on Eternal Sunshine, seriously he can carry out every single concept. He’s such an ace.
There's another creator on here (who I agree with) who said his style is both masculine and feminine - which is rare for an idol - and it allows him to perfectly embody any concept.
@@vanessarayfox That’s so true and now that you mentioned this I remember during his debut days, when asked about his favorite dancers, he said that he didn’t discriminate between male or female idols so he also looked up to Seulgi from Red Velvet. Maybe that’s why, he learned dancing by watching both male and female dancers and that helped him a lot
i think jongho's a very underrated performer. everyone and their mom knows he can sing but his dancing and actual performance is glossed over too often. my guy would be an incredible performer even if he couldn't sing and everyone needs to realise that :')
I agree! I think some concepts suit him better than others expression wise or even dance style wise but ATEEZ is very performance heavy and everyone brings quite a unique energy
@@atozed Maybe, but we have to keep in mind that depending on the song, how high he has to sing, and how intense the choreography is, his attention and energy is divided more than the other members. There is a reason why Yeosang is forever expressing concern for Jongho and talking about how he has it the hardest on stage. All of the members sing and dance simultaneously of course, but our maknae is asked to do the most vocally and his parts are usually the hardest. Jongho is so professional that he can step out of the choreography when he needs to, hit his note, and step right back in without missing a beat or a step. He is definitely underrated.

I was about to comment the same thing, that you can see the pain in his face so much, and moves. Maybe that's why Inception is my favorite song of theirs.
Their duality on and off camera are just crazy. They feeling themselves, like theyre one with the song, love it.

This video made my realize why Hwa and Hongjoon are my wreckers. San is my bias and our two oldest members’ performance styles are basically a “restrained” or “slightly less NSFW” (with heavy emphasis on SLIGHTLY here..) versions of San. Like, they’re all in the demon line for a reason, but there’s also a reason why San is Sa(ta)n. I love San, but sadly without the rest of Ateez by his side, especially matz, he would have a hard time existing as an idol. In any other group, San would have overpowered his team mates by MILES. Even as an Ateez member he’s getting criticized for being “too much”. Imagine putting this power house of a man in a group without any members even remotely matching his energy. God, I love Ateez. They’re such a perfectly assembled group of talents.
I've said it before and I'll say it again that they all have the ability to express songs and feelings, their mobilization skills are all above imagination, but the one who stands out and grabs the eye is San, but if you look at Yoosang and Minji or anyone Of them, you find them all like San in expression, facial features, even feelings appear on the face
Ateez stage presence is excellent. Like literally each of the them have exceptional stage presence

I saw a clip a few days ago where he was explaining why his facial expressions were like that for Inception and the guy made a whoooole concept out of their song lyrics and translated that to hia facial expressions. >
Put Wooyoung in the Demon Line already, boy be killing it. I mean, he is HJ and Hwa's Demon Child so makes sense 😂 I know they all could be in it, but especially Wooyoung.
These men are full on actors too, it's amazing to watch. And San, not much I can say that hasn't already been said, but he's my bias for so many reasons, but this is the main one. I'm never bored watching him that's for sure, many other things but not bored 😂

Hongjoong- Hall of fame for best leader and king of stage presence
Seonghwa- The first male idol to ever bias wreck me. He holds a special place in my heart but I still want him arrested for the crimes pulled against my heart.
Yunho- I could watch him dance forever. It’s hard to believe one person could be so utterly perfect and just good at everything 😭
Yeosang- My precious baby, my doll. I’m so proud of him. His confidence…. along with his biceps have grown exponentially over the last few years. We love to see it 😍
San- What really can be said about San that hasn’t already been said. He’s a king on stage and a baby kitten when off. I’ve never known someone who could be so genuinely kind with zero pretense. Anybody who wishes him harm will have a date with the glizzie 🔫
Mingi- The princess who deserves the world. Another one I’m willing to go to jail for. He’s such a cool individual on stage. It’s not talked about a lot but his dancing skill is so good.
Wooyoung- The lovable brat ❤ Master of sexiness. I know he gets the killing parts a lot, but I’m greedy and want to see more of him still.
Jongho- The boss baby. THE Main vocal of this generation. It kind of sucks that as the main vocalist he doesn’t get to show off just how good of a dancer/performer he is. If you saw those pre-debut performance videos than you know what I mean. His facial expressions are good enough for him to potentially be part of the demon line though lol
Yeosang's improvements I'm so proud of him . All of ateez are amazing performers it's hard to tell who takes which roles . San is a lead singer but some confuse him as a main dancer cause he's so good.
The demon line is always on top of the facial expressions and jongho got them in my opinion but in hongjoong you forgot the break the wall dance break facial expression it's my favorite . Btw jongho got a smirk in the wonderland comeback stage fancam that you had to include it it was a one of a kind smirk
For HJ none of the face cams had a great angle of it enough for me to download a whole new video lol but hopefully ppl will see this and go seek out the whole things to see it!
SAN is GOD OF PERFORMANCE, I have been a kpop fan since 2006, but the way San performs is jus 🔥🔥🔥something I have been missing from the new kpop idols ! Also, every single ATEEZ member is jus way too good with their stage presence & performance!

I think videos like this are really important for Atiny! It’s so hard to not focus on the demon line because they go so hard on their facial expressions, but every member does amazing with their expressions. The two that surprised me the most are Yeosang and Wooyoung. I am definitely going to start paying more attention to their expressions. Also Mingi! How does he manage to look so freaking coo all the time on stage! Ateez’s attention to detail, like their facial expressions, really set them apart from other groups. If I want to show people why Ateez is so incredible this is definitely a video I will show!

i want to give a ranking for each members , but before i start..this is just my opinion, its ok if y'all not agree with me..i still love ATEEZ each one of them.
1) Choi San - Greedy type. His face can change to anything that he can think of. if its happy, then he's happy..if he's sad, then he's sad..Also, his expression always shows eventhough the camera not focus on him.Thats y i give him no.1 spot
2) Kim Hongjoong - Psycho type. As you can see most of his fancam, he always smiling and winking.. even though the song is cheerful or mad,that smile can fit in. Same like San, camera not focus on him, he still doing his expression.
3) Park Seonghwa - Creepy type. For Seonghwa, he really loves to show his creepy faces more than his bubbly looks. But no matter what, he still can manage both of it. I chose him as no.3 is because, when it comes to happy song, thats just his daily looks. hehe.. for Hongjoong, even though its a happy song, his smile is different. idk y'all but this is what I thought. :) and again..camera not focus on him, he still with that looks.
4) Song Mingi - Playful type. I never thought Mingi can be in top 5 actually, but yeah.. believe it or not, he's no.4 for me. From his fancam, most of it, you can see how he's enjoying himself with his facial looks. The way he always biting lips and put his tongue out.. he knows it. he know he's cool.
5) Kang Yeosang - Rude type. What I mean by rude is when he raised his eyebrow and smirk. That is his power tbh. So glad that he's not that much a shy person anymore. :)
6) Jung Wooyoung - Lustful type. You all know it, when it comes to Wooyoung, its S.E.X.Y ! ok but why no.6? its because, almost all of his fancam is just look the same. but, his dance is so detailed. i love the way he dance.
7) Choi Jongho - Angry type. Why Jongho no.7? well, even though he's singing like there's no tomorrow, but he still can do the angry expression looks. And I really want to point out about Jongho though..if he's not singing for 1 whole song, Jongho dance will make u full. It's true when Hongjoong says Jongho is a secret performer. look at some of Jongho fancam. he can dance for sure.
and 8) Jeong Yunho - Basic type. I know...I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say he's the worst, but..most of his fancam, he just looking so cute for me. I don't see any expression. BUT ! I saw once from Kingdom legendary war, when they performed wonderland. I hope I can see that looks again. So yeah.. this is just my opinion. If you guys saw Yunho good expression let me know. I want to see his look changes. but he's just too cute, hehe..
Thanks for sharing! It's definitely quite subjective depending on what individuals prefer and same members will sometimes perform the same song quite differently on different days! I could almost rank them differently every single performance if I had to.
For Yunho, I do actually think he emotes more consistently throughout a performance than some other members when he's feeling it, but there are maybe some days he is not feeling it and emotes very little throughout a song too. His stage expressions also aren't as vastly different from his regular ones nor are they are varied from performance to performance when compared to some other members. Either way, most of the time I do see him making conscious choices to stay engaged in a performance an bring life to the song. Ofc I like all the performances I picked for him (especially Wave) but here are a few more moments I've really liked from him too:

And I think its my mistake to described his dance as ‘basic type'.. I think it should be as a ‘Fun type'..cause he always look like having fun on stage, also... his expression makes the dance look easy for him. But again.. these all choices of mine based on expression, if its about dance..he's definitely on top ! ☺️
