This song, i was tearing up a bit when i heard the melody and the singing. When i read the lyrics and watch the MV, i broke down. Rudeus may be an eccentric MC with lack of confidence but despite this, he moves on with courage, again and again. Its realistic to say that he's one, if not the most down to Earth isekai MC with a touch of us commoners within his moral compass. When this opening play, my perception for Rudeus changed a lot at the OP scene where he saved Sara. That transition brings justice to Rudeus, truly a legend in the making.
MT is the anime that gets me and my partner to commit to each other. I was so cowardly my whole life. But I met my now partner and traveled 5,024 miles to be with him. Knowing I'm a shut in myself. I love this song to be my wedding song in the future.

This is so good it really makes justice to the original piece. All the emotion and catchy tone is still the, the chorus is done perfectly, and the chords really fit in. I can 100% say that this is the best adaptation of an anime opening that I have ever seen and as someone who loves this song and this cover piece I cant wait for the music sheet to come out so that I can play it myself.
After reading the ln version of s2c1, I realize the true meanings of this arc. It's not just about Rudeus trying to cure his ED, but regain confidence as a person, his trust in others, and continuing his journey and life even after hardships and mistakes. This song really just hits different, amazing cover.

I found the new OP to be quite a departure from the songs we heard thus far in S1 of mushoku, but it really fits the narrative in a way. Definitely one of the more fun songs this season and you really captured it wonderfully! All around a great listen! Haven't checked your vids in a while, but this "simpler" and more weighty arrangement style worked incredibly well here as was pointed out in another comment as well! Very happy to see the quality is still as good as always :D
