I do vaguely remember watching this on ITV in the 1960's. I think it was made by ABC television that had the weekend ITV franchise for the midlands and the north and was shown, in my region at least, in a slot usually reserved for children's television. I think the BBC radio series was a lot more popular than the tv series not least because a man in his mid forties could just about get away with playing a 12 year old on the radio whereas on television his ageing features gave the game away somewhat. Even when this was first on it was somewhat 'old hat' in style for a comedy programme.
There must have been some upscaling, here, and it's pretty impressive. With AI, I can see this stuff later being 4K and colourised. Not sure if it's artistic progress but it's definitely technological progress. Thank you for the effort.
It is not the Clitheroe Kid, it is Thats my boy. The Clitheroe Kid had different characters such as Susan and Alfie and Jimmy only had a mother not a father in it.

Iv been listening to Jimmy Clitheroe this on the radio and now on TH-cam and Billy Bunter and Whacko still very funny.
