I love this concept. You explain the products you use for the base while still showing the process in a fast motion. It's not boring at all! Keep it up. Love the look 💘
YES, PLEASE DO MORE COLOURPOP TUTORIALS!!!! There are lots of CP haul, swatch, first impression videos on YT, but not a lot of tutorials. I own a ton of CP products & I'm always looking for inspiration, so it would be super helpful. Your tutorials are LIFE. ❤ XOXO
I love this look. I have been debating whether or not to buy the nectar eye palette. I love to watch the base applied. It transforms the skin and I could watch it over and over!
I just wanted to let you know that your eyelash tip about adding the part you cut off the end has changed my life! I always got a little sad taking so much off the lashes and never thought about adding it to the end!! You are full of tips and so inspiring and I love your videos!!!
NO NO NO tHE BASE MAKES EVERYTHING !!! IT's THE CANVAS AND EVERYTIME IS DIFFERENT!!! I LOVE IT ALL YOUR DOING IT ANYWAYS SO JUST SAY IF U DONT WANNA WATCH THE BASE face makeup foward to like 2:30 mins into the video or whatever. i LOVE your videos
I'd love to see some videos on your favorite Colourpop products in each category...and also your favorite Colourpop lippies for Spring 💐 and Summer ☀️ Thank u!
what i like about your video is the lighting is perfect. i sseear some other beauty gurus video are so unreal. they crank up the lighting and filter which make them like mannequin skin. .
a monochromatic look usually uses shades in the same range. so if u were creating a pink monochromatic look u would use different pink eyeshadows with a pink blush and a pink lip. they don't all have to be the exact same color just in the same family/shade range. these looks actually look very pretty in my opinion.
If you're familiar with other eye looks, it basically follows the same rules except you use shades of the same color. For example even a brown smokey eye can be part of a monochromatic look if you use a brown lip and a bronzey blush with it
Jacqueline Sianez just like the person above me said. There is no set rule for eye looks. U can follow any guideline u want. If u want a pink monochromatic look for example, what I would do is use a neutral pink shade as a transitional color and then use a deeper pink shade to define the crease, maybe even a more berry toned shade for the outer v and then maybe a nice shimmer shade for the lid. That's just the standard in my opinion for an eye look. And then I would use a nice pink blush and a nice pink lip. Keep in mind of course use shades that would compliment your skin tone. Me being of tan complexion I would use warm dusty pink shades for this look but a more pale person can definitely use cooler toned pinks. This is just what I would do.
I like watching the base part, but I like how you did it today, it was a really good middle ground. :). Also I recently watched your eyebrow grooming video and attacked my eyebrows for the first time in over a year and oh my gosh. Your tips helped and my eyebrows look so good! I'm never letting the go so bad. I found the trimming part most helpful since I had some brow hairs that we're about an inch long. eeeek.
Love the different format! Best of both worlds ;) Really loving monochromatic looks right now and these colours looked so pretty on you. However the blush/highlight palette was kinda scary, your nose was gold!!!
Hi Melissa :) I just discovered your channel through your new video and this one, and I am conquered!! I think your way of doing makeup is special and unique, plus your beauty is peculiar (yet gorgeous) too, so I think it gives a new gaze on makeup. I think you are really artistic and creative. And I love how you change your background. I am glad I met your Channel :) Love from France
Beauty Can Blend I don't use any redness relieving drops because they can have bad long term effects or even make you eyes more red as they become dependent on the drops! So I just use natural tears and hope it relieves the redness lol
I love this concept. You explain the products you use for the base while still showing the process in a fast motion. It's not boring at all! Keep it up. Love the look 💘

It Looks Amazing 💕💕💕
Melissa, could you please do a tutorial explaining what a monochromatic look is and what colors to use ?
a monochromatic look usually uses shades in the same range. so if u were creating a pink monochromatic look u would use different pink eyeshadows with a pink blush and a pink lip. they don't all have to be the exact same color just in the same family/shade range. these looks actually look very pretty in my opinion.
Geraldine Martinez where does each color go on the eyelid ? I need a walk through verbally and it being demonstrated
If you're familiar with other eye looks, it basically follows the same rules except you use shades of the same color. For example even a brown smokey eye can be part of a monochromatic look if you use a brown lip and a bronzey blush with it

Love you!!! You are amazing! Mexico 🇲🇽 😘😊
ooo that highlighter reminds me of a slightly darker version of nars albatross
Could you do a cool-toned purple makeup look? I have Makeup Geek Unexpected and Vintage and can't figure out how to use them properly!
Your so pretty, ugh I wish I was pretty as you
Alicia Rendon don't compare yourself to others. You're beautiful! 😍
beautiful💖💙💖💙
HI Melissa love your makeup love. Also I hear Rohto eye drops works really good for redness.
Beauty Can Blend I don't use any redness relieving drops because they can have bad long term effects or even make you eyes more red as they become dependent on the drops! So I just use natural tears and hope it relieves the redness lol
Melissa Alatorre oh wow I didn't know that as I don't use it much anyways. Probably a few times in the past. Natural tears the best then lol
Yassss 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
SLAYY 😍
