What Tami said about singing, that's so on point. I realise I haven't sung for the longest while,. This has been a year of grieving for me -- been grieving the death of my mama, the death of relationships, and death of social life (which wasn't much, just church and the occasional weekends with family and friends). These days of isolation makes me feel like I'm dying alive sometimes. And what you just said struck a chord. I haven't sung in a long time, since those last harmonies in morning worship with my late mom. My soul needs to soar again, and I hope a song can release this caged bird. It was good hearing you sing again, Mrs. Mitchell.
