Totally forgot to mention that while you can only have three vertical Coils, they can be as large as the turbine horizontally to fill up all the space. So the more space you have for induction coils, the more power you can produce :)
For those who want some stats for ATM10, the steam produce from a 11 * 11 * 5 reactor, can supply a lot of 7 * 7 * 14 turbine with 28 insanite block as coil. Each turbine should be running around 900 rpm and generating around 15mfe/t. I'm using verderium as fuel and refregium as coolant for the reactor, reactor rod placement is fill the center with rod and a column of coolant on the outer edge of the rod. I have 6 turbine running and its barely consume more than 10% of the steam produce from reactor, if you are bored of the mekanism reactor, extreme reactor turbine is another good alternative. With Copy Paste gadget, you can build dozens of turbine in no time.
Thanks for the tutorial. In particular the insight about using fewer coils for smaller turbines was new to me. I got to say I'm a bit disappointed in how poor the overall power output was of that big turbine compared to the 5x5x5 basic reactor. It's like a 40% increase, but that's only 14kFE total
After extensive testing, I have found the optimal amount of insanite in turbine. I am personally using a 7x7x13 turbine as it is the most optimal for the space that I have. I found that the numbers from my turbine were 900.20 with 32 blocks of insanite and it was making 15.75mrf/t. You might be expecting it to not be making as much power since it's not spinning so fast, however I found that the optimal speed for insanite was about 1007.75 RPM. Since the turbines have a 2,000 mb/t flow rate cap on the steam I was trying to find the most optimal amount of blocks in order to keep it from going beyond that RPM but still spin fast enough to generate some power. Here are some other numbers that I have coming from a 9x9x12 turbine that I did the testing in. Edit: I tested this in a 5x5x26 turbine and it works just fine. 32 blocks of insanite with max flow rate are the most optimal if you're looking for raw power production. RPM----------insanite------power gen 960 with 30 blocks, 15.38mrf/t 800.42 with 36 blocks, 14.87mrf/t 847.41 with 34 blocks, 15.51mrf/t 873.03 with 33 blocks, 15.69mrf/t 900.20 with 32 blocks, 15.75mrf/t ~929 with 31 blocks, ~15.6mrf/t
Oxi help, i have a 7x7x15 turbine with ludicrite coils, but i barely get a 100kfe power output, what am i doing wrong? Isnt it supposed to be around 1 Mfe? I have a 7x7x9 reactor providing it steam btw
@martinlalsawmzuala5225 hmm, the only thing I can think of is there is not enough blades and or steam. I will send you a Discord invite here in a few mins and yiu can send screenshots

bro i found your reactor video yesterday, I cannot believe how well the timing of this upload is
What can i say, just read your mind ig lol
exact same for me lol, yesterday i said id watch the turbine video today, had no idea it wasnt even out yet. crazy

finding this while im working on my turbine after not finding a good video is amazin, great quality keep up the good work!
I'm glad I could help :)
Just finished watching pt1, so glad to have you back for pt2!
the timing of this upload is impeccable, i just started learning about er yesterday 😭
Thanks for the info. Definitely looking forward to the other videos for this mod
Glad to help!
Man, great tutorial!
So much better than those useless 2.5 hour "tutorials" that are just play through videos with terrible commentary.
Keep it up!
Thank you, friend. That is entirely my goal with these tutorials.
@@PapaOxi Looking forward to more

By far the best video I've seen on this topic.
Thank you!
Quality content man, got my subscribe.
Many thanks 🙏

Thank you so much!
Excellent video. Appreciate the effort!

I really appreciate anyone taking the time to share their findings for everyone to benefit from, so thank you for all this info!
tnx for the help
I do what I can lol
This was so helpful you don’t even know
Thankk youuu!!!
Very good video 👍
Glad you liked it!
Yassss
Damn, the timing could be more perfect. Just finished the reactor vid.
is there such thing as to big of a turbine? ive made mine 7x7x29 hahaha and it barely moves
I dare you to make it bigger lol

Is it a basic or reinforced turbine?
It's a reinforced one
