- Some vision from my first dive to the scuttled wreck of the former Navy ship HMAS Canberra. What an experience, the visibility wasn't the best but it provided for a spooky eerie exhilarating experience.

As far as marine life goes, on this day we saw Leatherjackets, Blue Devils, Old Wives and i think we got to about 25 metres depth mainly cruising around the bow, bridge and mast areas, so certainly not enough time to see the whole 138 metres, they tell me it takes many dives to properly explore the Canberra.
Site Location Details
The agreed location for the ex HMAS Canberra FFG-02 artificial reef and wreck dive site is in Bass Strait, situated between Port Lonsdale and Barwon Heads, Victoria, Australia. It is approximately:
2 to 3 km offshore from the dune coastline of Ocean Grove,
4.2 km from the mouth of the Barwon River and
6.2 km from Point Lonsdale.
Vicroads reference Map 455 B12.
Looks great, Stuart :) well done! I love my flailing hands near the end of video 😂
Thank you, lol well i wouldn't say flailing, just buoyancy control and balancing adjustments :)
@@underwater_and_randoms good way to look at it haha!
Who would you recommend to dive with for his wreck?
Hi, Diveline Scuba Centre Frankston for sure
@@underwater_and_randoms perfect and thank you

How much does this cost?
Well for the boat trip to get there about $70 I think
