Anyone who is a big fan of Highlander series will recognize that in the scene where Mike brings a gallon of Methylamine to Declan, there are two immortals meeting not exactly on holy ground. In another universe they will be arranging for another meeting to see who can get the other's quickening.
It's a classic move from the criminal psychology handbook. Serial killers/psychopathic sadists often keep a trophy of their victims. Todd attempted to show the emotion of remorse when he was being questioned, but it was all just a show to get himself out of trouble. Todd can't feel remorse.
Vince Gilligan did provide a backstory that Walt left Gray Matter out of ego that his girl Gretchen family was richer than him and he felt inferior..but this addition never made complete sense to me even knowing Walt's ego and youth then, maybe there is more to it.
Vince often precludes his speculation in interviews/on panels as well that his ideas (the ones that are shared outside of the writers room) are not official canon. What he chose to show was intentionally vague, with contrasting info in order to leave the viewers to make up their own theories. My opinion is that young Walt's Grey Matter story should stay with just what we saw in the show, and individual viewers can fill in their own blanks if they wish, but we'll never know for sure.
Albertsons is the name of a grocery store they have a deli and a bakery area most of the Albertsons have closed in Texas so I don't know what they have now
😂😂😂 The look on your face when Walt brought up Gray Matter. But I'm glad you did empathize with his position, cause I did too. It's critical to understanding his motive and drive to continue this madness. Still sad though...but that look was hilarious!!!
I hope you haven't seen Dexter yet with your outlook on things i think you would really like Dexter it is a great show too and i would enjoy watching you react to it
Although it was brutal, the original plan was that NOBODY could ever know. Whether the kid just rode up or if he saw a lot of it, he knew something. What if his dad was one of the engineers and at dinner that weekend he tells the story of the silly dump truck driver that made him have to stop the train by the dunes where his kid goes to collect spiders on his dirt bike. And the kid says yeah I saw the train stopped and there were these guys under the bridge with hoses hooked up to the train car.
The look on Jesse’s face when he’s drinking is one of my favourite parts of the whole series 😂
SAME 😂😂😂
Same here
makes a great reaction gif for use in awkward text conversations as well.
Todd is one of the best depictions of a sociopath (or maybe psychopath) on film, I'd say. Great performance by Plemons.
According to Aaron Paul the dinner scene was one of his favorites.
Apparently Walt whistles a song called ; Lilly of the Valley...
If that's true, that might be the most evil, sadistic moment of the whole series.
It’s a Queen song, yep

The fact that Todd kept the kid's tarantula; He's a sadistic prick, keeping souvenirs.
It's a fictional show, get over it.

Lol it's like a serial killer keeping a trophy of his kill or he just wanted to save the tarantula lol
@deeem2628 condolences on the brain damage
I enjoyed your reaction to the dinner scene. He was so uncomfortable and played it perfect. I always like watching the drinking scene. So funny.
Walt wouldn't quit until he made more than Gray Matter's net worth, so he could cook all of that and get $300 million and still wouldn't be satisfied.
@@DustinAxelson and what empire? 4 /5 guys working for him. 1 very old enforcer.. Very small and weak empire..
The dinner scene always gets me 🤣
When Jesse is walking out of the cook house Walt is whistling a song called Lilly of the Valley.

This is torture !! I want the mid season finale 😂
15:51 Jesse's gonna need a refill lol
"He took the tarantula." Yeah. No spoilers, but I remember thinking that was a bad sign. Serial killers take trophies...

‘Shit happens huh’ is the mentality of any in this world… Jesse should of never been apart of this world
Even someone as lovable as you cant make me watch this show again . I would however love to watch something like Battlestar Galactica with you

I thought most American carried guns.
lol 32% personally own a gun, and not all of them carry it on them at all times.
Nope. Most owned guns are for home defense. Even less are concealed carry.
Please react to V for Vendetta!
Also: eagerly waiting for your reaction to The Godfather Part II.
