Ya know…the coach and players are doing the best that they can. Negative feedback doesn’t really help. Iowa fans need to remember and realize that this team has lost a seasoned amazing head coach, a once-in-a-lifetime generational talent in CC, and a handful of starters who had been playing together for many years. Just the loss of Caitlin alone, amounts to easily a third of their final score total in every game. She not only was a scoring machine, she was the spark plug to motivate and make better everyone around her. THAT, my friends, is extremely hard if not impossible to replace in one season. We should give the coach and players support, encouragement, and respect for going out there and trying their best to represent a school that frankly became a bit “spoiled” with such a superstar in their midst and a clever fix of a coach running the show for many wonderful years!!
The players only play with intensity in spurts, the effort is not there. True they miss CC and Kate. But they also miss a coach that's a master motivator. The freshman are better than all the starters.
Coach J cares so much for the players. She needs to bring her own Bad Cop and some other assistant can take the encouraging role. Enough about the youth, own the responsibility of coaching.
Hannah should not play the 4 position, she has no long or midrange shot. Her only shot is one move under the basket. Syd has been a dissapointment especially after ending last year so strong. O'Grady is just too slow and not the best hands, Kylie is playing like she is scared and her shooting is terrible, Heiden and Ediger need much more playing time, and Jensen's quick substituting is not giving the player's any consistency. Stremlow is good coming off the bench . Put Olsen in the 2 position, at least she has a midrange shot. And this Iowa team needs to run, run and run !!!!
THY HAVE GOT TO HAVE THE FIRE TO WIN . JUST TO GO OUT AND PLAY IS NOT GETTING IT DONE . INSTILL THE WANT TO!!!!. IN THEM . ANYONE CAN PLAY . WINNERS FIND WAYS TO WIN
This coach has no clue how to run this team. You are the problem Jensen w your crazy rotations. Bench the starters and put the freshmen in. Take some freshmen out put some starters in w more freshmen. You are not sure who your best starters are and you are shattering their confidence. More losses are coming if you keep it up. Your crazy rotations started w Maryland. And you have lost all 3 games.

Put Hannah back at post
She does look lost at forward
I now agree that it's time to start McCabe.
This ship is ready to sail.
I've been wanting 'Queen' McCabe to start since the last NCAA tournament.

A lot of shots simply weren't falling. That 4th quarter was tough to watch with all of the opportunities that appeared.
Vets have lost confidence. They get pulled from the line up as soon as they make a mistake.
I agree with Jan. I was more encouraged after this game, rotations were better, and freshmen looking good.
Good to have those free throws back. Just a few percentage points on the FGs (2 & 3), a bit fewer TO's , and the Hawks could have had five more Ws.
16 rebounds and only 8 points, makes it tough.

Journalist show some courage - were Indiana “ better bb players?”
I told ya’ll Iowa would fade away …

It took a miracle worker to put IOWA on the map, now back to mediocrity. We are used to it.
They can be a top 10 team in a couple years if the freshman are developed, beginning now.
How did Hanna S. score 47 points in a game one.year ago? Precise passes into the post and those court length passes into her for layups!!
@@barrykolsrud140. She can only make layups; not even free throws. I see no improvement in 3 years now.
Iowa back to being a mid-average team without CC.
