I'm seeing some mixed moveset in this monster. Tobi when he's on all fours, Gos/Arzuros when he's standing and whatever flying wyvern with the hindleg swipe. Pretty cool it can do so much with one skeleton type.
Does the double slash draw attack really have a guard point? I thought it didn't have any special property, just like the normal Iai slash in base Rise. Or maybe I'm I missing something
@@frankyboy98 yes, it does have a guard point (from when the skill was initially released in base Rise). A lot of people, myself included, forget that it does which is what makes the fact he not only remembered but pulled it off seamlessly all the more impressive. 😁
it's definitely too soon to say if this is the new playstayle, but I didn't find anything better so far! Looking forward to how the meta will change in the future!

call me crazy but those areas with the big stone circles in the middle ie basement of jungle and the second area you fought lunagaron in look almost perfect size for harvest moon without the monster leaving the circle?

That move is a new switch skill called "Sacred Sheath" when fully sheathed it becomes a charge attack and drains your entire spirit gauge to power it. It's alot of fun and bring variety to the LS gameplay
I will definitely love it if copcom release an openworld villages of mh rise although the hunting quest is still the same, like you need 4 hunters to hunt monsters out there.
Not sure if harvest moon to regular sheath to helm breaker is better than Sakura slash spam then switch skill into helm breaker/new sheath attack, with limited wire bugs can’t do both it seems

It's a new skill. The little worm bats floating around his body. They drain your health over time and will kill you. But the more they drain the more you heal and the more dmg you do when you switch Scrolls. Max 3 worms
Lunagaron Helm, Barioth Mail X, Barioth Vambraces X, Anjanath Coil X and Malzeno Greaves. With any charm with 2 slots level 2 you can get thse skills: Attack Boost 5, Fire/Water/Thunder/Ice/Dragon attack 5, Crit eye 4, WW3, QS3, MM3, CB3, Crit Draw 2.
you can choose from the option menu, but here it was more convenient to me to wyvern ride. I get all my wirebugs back and I have a free opening for the Sacred Sheathe charged attack.
What you should be comparing it to is Sakura slash. Sakura slash does more damage than helmbreaker AND it gives spirit gague, unlike helmbreaker where you lose spirit gague
@@wengeance8962 I tested it out and from my results helmbreaker does more damage than sakura slash for me (this is base rise yet still haven't bought sunbreak lol) I tried my best to aim my sakura slash to the dummy with max crit and red gauge and the damage I deal is about 859. With helmbreaker its about 1105. The build I use is this: Phantom mirage rampage atk boost 3, Kaiser crown Barioth mail S Sinister gauntlets S Anjanath coil S Ingot greaves S Demon petalace III Charm QS2 slot: 3-2 Decos: crit boost 2, wex 3, handicraft 1, speed sharp 3, free meal 3, flinch free, 1, diversion 1.
@@elk3407 It play completely different from GS when it introduced in MHFU and start to develop the counter style in Gen but they decide to make it become bootleg GS in Sunbreak for some reason.

From the look of it GS have better counter and stronger charge attack than LS which is bring me so much joy.

So nice to see most of the LS moveset actually being used instead of the usual iss + shb loop.

Well, that's the thing. They have base skeletons for each species. They only add finesse, pizazz and shingamajig. Bing bang boom, bob's yo uncle.

PC version is much better unless you like the portability of the switch. PC port runs super well on most GPUs and its easy to get 100+ FPS
