My dad had a light blue one with a continental kit and 6 cylinder. He put a y pipe on it for dual exaust so everyone would think it wss an 8 cylinder. He also had a 1954 Mercury Sun Valley.

Never knew that the 1953 Buick Skylark was available as a 6 cylinder engine. I thought that only the Buick Special came in a 6 cylinder whilst all the rest of the Buick line-up that year featured the new Nailhead V-8 engine that had about 200 hp. I guess I was wrong about that.
