The tokumei sentai go busters morpher weapons and buster machines came out when I was in my final year of middle school and I loved every single minute of the new super sentai series
I'd say this is perfect for Hasbro's first Power Rangers Mecha it's almost nearly a combiner wars/titans Return/ power of the Primes robot. I can actually totally see them using similar ports in the American version to that of those transformers lines
When you really see it, Its kind of like transformers isnt it? They have “headmasters”, they combine like a combiner, and go buster ace transforms. Kind of understand why hasbro chose this one fo their first ever power rangers season.
Hot water can fix those propellers, and the heli mode of yellow looks like someone either forgot to install it's cockpit, or blew it off in a fight. It def needs the head there for it to look "right".

I know that go busters was skipped because Bandai said the Toys didn’t do well in Japan but maybe it’s also because they didn’t want to deal with the transformations that Go busters had since the way these things work feels like Transformers which is right up Hasbro’s alley and zord builder comes off as very simplistic so that could be another reason that Bandai didnt want to deal with these toys also there is no gimmick to use for two years

I can see why Hasbro would want Saban to adopt Go-Busters. This seems really in their transformers wheelhouse. However, the Mega Zord does not look good.
Love Go-Buster Ace! Go-Buster Oh I feel looks a lot better in the show than it does in toy form. I’ll be waiting to see what Hasbro does before I decide to hunt down the Japanese versions.
Looks like Hasbro has split the difference between Bandai Japan and Bandai America as far as design and quality. The Zords are both weightier and less compromised in transformation but also more accurate to the show. The Megazord's proportions are much better, and there are far fewer missing paint applications than Bandai America's last few toys.

Well fuck. I just grabbed my Go Buster stuff, which has been sitting on a shelf for several years now, and it's all self destructing. The screw mounts that hold Cheetah Nick together sheared off inside his body. The screw mount that holds Ace's head together sheared off inside the head. The ports that hold the legs on the gold beetle won't grab for shit. _All_ of the clips on the gorilla are broken now. None of these parts suffered any kind of prolonged stress on the shelf. They weren't like the ports that hold Go-Buster Oh's arms, which actually did survive. This is like... GPS, but more insidious because the plastic seems like it's just good old ABS. God, I hope Beast Morphers gives us solid replacements for the old DX stuff. I loved the Go Busters line, but I can't enjoy a crumbling mess.

The Gorilla leg parts stay on the Megazord better, and the Megazord arms have elbows that the Japanese version didn't. The proportions are also much closer to the way the mecha suit looks on the show than the Go Busters toys.
The Hasbro version looks like a cheap knockoff by comparison to these. Side note, will be ever get better articulation in megazords? The articulation/posability has been the same since 1993, we we not have the technology to implement functional knees, elbows, head swivel etc?
Well, the Hasbro version has neck, shoulder and wrist swivels for the gorilla, and elbows, hips and neck for the Megazord. So yeah, we're doing a lot better now. Other than the Gorilla being kind of weird standing up, what's wrong with the rest of them? They're nearly the same size and have about 70 to 80% of the same paint details.

All that's been said are feats and real damn simple traits, nothing more than that, and not even amazing ones, all pretty much seen in better villains. Enter is simply a person who can speak french and has traits that older villains had, his best feat is using the red leader as a human shield, yet he still fucked that up eventually.

The whole reason Bandai's were as cheap as they were is because of how few moving parts there were and how simple they were to assemble. Hasbro's have way more moving parts and better paint. My only complaint is how plain the Wheeler Zord looks in gorilla mode, because the torso is just blue but that's actually accurate to the show.

Go-busters is very good series. beast morphers cannot be as good as go-busters. they cannot make a good villain like Enter.
