For those bat loafers, you could paint the bats with shoe paint. Any color you want- white, red, silver... I agree that tan/gold does not go with most goth clothing.

I have gotten some comments about this, but I haven't seen anyone recommend any affordable and sustainable goth and alternative brands that also includes plus sizing, so I can offer people of all walks of life and all shapes and sizes alternative clothing options. Do you know of any goth or alternative affordable and sustainable brands? Cuz a lot of it seems high dollar and haven't found much in general in my search. Also when it comes to thrifting, people living in areas where people don't really dress alternative (I'm in Kansas), where are people able to get alternative sustainable pieces second hand? I know Etsy and Poshmark and Depop and stuff... but it seems like a lot of alternative stuff on there is second hand fast fashion which seems like it's supporting fast fashion either way... Sorry for the essay, or if I'm asking dumb questions... You just seem cool and knowledgable and like you can help not just me but maybe people in the comments wondering the same thing. It just seems like fast fashion can be an easy trap for alternative people since it's slim pickings for us as it is, and when people are really harsh and judgy (I get totally get why) it's easy to shut down and return to bad habits instead of moving ahead and being productive and still offer viewers affordable, alternative clothing that comes in an array of sizes. I appreciate any insight on this, even if anyone else out there is reading this and has some good recommendations! I think this could be really helpful for a lot of us who are used to shopping fast fashion!

When i was eliminating fast fashion from my life I would go to thrift stores and then make my finds cool by dying them (such an easy way to make things goth-y, like old nightgowns and anything sort of lacey dyed black) or modifying them by cutting them or adding a trim. Most things like trousers and even big t shirts can be fitted to look cool with some elastic (super cheap and versatile) and things like buttons or patches or spare ribbon, even with limited knowledge of sewing. These are just some of the things I like to do, but there are soooo many helpful tutorials online to give you some ideas. You just gotta get creative! Fabric craft isn't for everyone but it might be something to consider for making your fashion videos more ethical/sustainable. You have such a good eye for making things look cool...I think you could make some really great stuff. Thank you for responding honestly regardless!

100% ethical, sustainable brands that serve the spooky/alt/goth/grunge community are few and far between, and usually have price ranges up in the 100s of dollars. Two that I know of are Exo Umbra (Etsy) and Noctex (Based in Canada).
