Just got this phone - it is good for the price (200 euro), the screen is especially nice, this is arguably the best phone for people who don't like OLED and want a good screen. However the speakers are HORRIBLE, easily the worst on any smartphone I've ever had since 2011. Being ""surround"" speakers, one is placed below like a normal one, while the other is inside the back of the phone. This creates the first problem - the speaker in the back makes the phone vibrate with audio, making it extremely annoying to hold in your hand. You can "solve" this by going into audio adjustments and moving the audio to the right channel (the bottom speakers). Naturally you end up with a single weak speaker with nearly 0 bass. Even if you are fine with the vibration and don't do this, the speakers just sound bad. They are very flat and sound almost blown - I tested two G75s so this isn't just a single phone's issue. I listen to metal and the phone is basically unable to play it, it comes out as a wall of noise. Definitely not recommended if you use your phone's speakers to watch videos or listen to music (in private; of course in public you should use headphones and not bother people). I made the dumb decision of buying this phone from a physical store so now I have to keep it - had I bought it from Amazon, it would've been an instant refund. Massive flaw for an otherwise great phone.
I don’t understand why they call it the Moto G 75 when it apparently has many features that are better than those of the Moto G 84 and 85. On the other hand, the Moto G 75 goes back to using an LCD screen, while the other two models feature POLED displays.
occasionally there are engineering and planning mishaps where the things get planned that turn out to be too good for the price and the brand and time of release (the camera in particular on the g75 is way too good for its price range - it goes toe to toe with flagships even though Motorola phones are known for dogshit cameras). There have historically been a few phones where this happened - i.e. the Oneplus One, HTC one (years ago), one of the sony xperias.
@@justarandomguy2126 tbh i went from pixel oled to g75 LCD and i swear the LCD looks much better and has much better contrast than an OLED. Yeah the oled has slightly darker blacks but the LCD has better colour.... imho.

@@gideonMorrison 1) G85 is already 4+ months old model, and Motorola phones' prices go down fast. 2) I posted in other as an answer - if you don't care about screen tech (IPS LCD vs pOLED / I personally prefer LCDs), G75 has much better SoC, is IP68 dust/water resistant, and much longer software support on paper. However, G75 is a literally a brick in both size and weight.
@@DukeofSerbia Yeah I much prefer G75 due to it having IPS. I can't handle PWM, so I already have been using my Poco X4 GT for 2.5 years. No worthy successor basically.

G75 bro, i was deciding between g75 and g85. i bought the G75 one week ago, lovely phone! It has ip68 rating which G85 doesnt have. you can record video footage in 4k which G85 doesnt have. this can be a good camera centric mid budget device. Motorola should concerte on immediate updates & launch it in India at a surprising price ✅
