Some tips and less noticeable mechanics of Ziya that i noticed :
1. The passive's orb will spawn regardless of whether you get the last hits or not. To put it in practice, for Mid Ziya, prioritize poking the boar monster camps ON BOTH SIDES. Even if you didn't get the last hits, the orbs will still spawn and grant you EXP, which could help you level up faster. If you're confident, you could even tail the enemy's jungler and poke the monster they're taking so they'll spawn the EXP orbs for you.
2. Let go of your movement joystick when you channel his normal ult. Unlike Marco's ult that'll still going as long as you hold the mov joystick before the cast (check Kyoui's Marco vid for clearer explanation), Ziya's base ult will ALWAYS get interrupted no matter whether you hold it before the cast or not. This is especially useful to prevent the ult's from getting interrupted when you're clearing minion waves from afar or trying to snipe the neutral dragons.
3. His ult's charge only affect the range, the dmg will stay the same so don't charge the ult for too long when you wanted to fast clear the waves or monster camps.
4. When you just respawn, Ziya's ult will ALWAYS be the un-enhanced version for the 1st cast even if you're level 20 and above, so keep that in mind when you join a fight as soon as you respawn.
5. On the technical side, specifically on graphic, choose the higher options when using him so you could see the glow on Ziya's ult icon, which shows whether his ult is enhanced or not. That could prevent some unfortunate accidents in late game caused by you not knowing the ult's version (i.e, trying to do the backward enhanced ult to cover your escape but you ended up stop in place and chanelling instead)

@@nva_69 You get nothing from using it, the blessing only benefits your ally when used. All the upgrades you get from surpassing lv 15 (faster ult charge, enhanced ult, magic atk stat) aren't tied to it too . I mean, even if you're trolling and hold the blessing until the game ends, nothings really change on your side, you'd still get all of those upgrades

@@lukedanielgalon1596the biggest weakness Ziya has is that he is weak early game his burst damage isn't as crazy as other mages. (Unless your enemy is Milady, in that case you will get fed tons of EXP)
But late game though, this guy is a menace.

One thing i learned about ziya is he can be played as a tank jungler or full mage jungler, his jungling speed is very fast and also you can get level 15 in just 6 mins, giving you advantage to enemies team jungler, so i think he can be played as a jungler (situational).

Can you make a video showing a roamer build? I tried to play a bit tanky with HP Arcana but I feel like I'm losing a lot of damage. Not sure what kind of items to get either. As of Day 1 international release, the recommended builds pages are empty.

Ok so dot armour and magic def reduction slow and he does gain the move around while ulting thing alright well ye his ult will be annoying

I bought this hero with limited cards for my supposedly Epic Shouyue cosmetic but honestly I’m more content guy than a cosmetic one of course just like I said in the community post the reason I want to get him is the “Character design is great” in addition I do not care where this Hero is in terms META or not Not META I’am still gonna use this hero regardless what happens to him
The important thing about him is picking who is getting the new level cap

When I tried Jiang ziya, it is not broken as I thought but it does feel very normal and easy to use, I find it fun because it is more what makes him strong that part
But he will be banned a lot because they think he will be broken like the others, but he will be a tier s, which I like a lot ziya

True, i don't think Ziya is worth the ban slot considering he's closer to the average backline mages like Angela and Xiao Qiao rather than the aggresive playmaker type like Mai or Shangguan. What i mean by that is his playstyle is stable and straightforward so you could play around him easier compared to the latter 2 heroes i mentioned

Nah, still not worth to ban because there's many hero that can counter him(For example hero that can jump backline : Shangguan, Mai shiranui) . I'd prefer ban Dolia, Donghuang, Loong, Arugran because those hero is more broken if it's on the right hand.

Another mage in my collection. He is as annoying as Lady Zhen (but my girl can still fight back the divers while moving, unlike him). And he is so FUN! Not ban worthy, too. 😆
I had 2 games with him. One where I played him with Ming and Garo as my allies. Welp, Garo had the time of her life because she was so well protected by me and Ming. She even got the Crucial Tank achievement while achieving Pentakill. Garo was worthy of my Sanctification.
Another game where I played Luban No. 7 and I had him as our mid. Fortunately, he gave me the Sanctification buff and I easily killed the enemy team while being tanky, too.
In general, Ziya is so fun and can contribute a lot to the team through debuff, CC, and damage. He can make his Jungler or Marksman a monster, too. 🥰
P.S. His 1st skill is so funny during late game. Just one hit of it and just watch your enemies (especially the squishies) getting their health chipped bit by bit until 50% HP while moving slowly and having reduced defenses. 😂

When you use his empowerment on a team mate, so they can reach level 25 also, what do they get each level up?
I know for Ziya he gets 20 AP per level.
Does your team mate also get that? Or something different.

I usually just give to team mate doing the best.
But if for example level 25 tank is more Overpowered than say a level 25 assassin.

Like all of your base stats will increase besides from getting the main stat buff

I tried him as Roamer and everyone said im out of my mind.... He is easy to use ngl.. just spam skill and u are done... High damage and AOE CC... But yeah, we need a Tank in the team if we play him as Roamer.
He is actually a utility mage so he can go for roaming

Lot of player still didnt know the worth of Ziya as Roamer. They only think that Ziya is only good for Midlane.... Well ofc Ziya as Midlaner is much better than Roam.

He's more annoying than dangerous tbh . . currently you will mostly find him just spaming his abilities from the back line.. just take your main against him he probably won't cause you much trouble
This guy is a bit tricky to come up with. Most of the time Jiang Ziya users aware of not having an escape skill. They check bushes frequently. Stay in the utmost rear part at any positioning. A late game hero that reaches his power in no time. A suitable counter might just get some magic defense.
