Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive comment! The early days of trying to achieve organic growth on TH-cam can be a bit of a slog. This really boosts our day. We hope you have a wonderful day yourself.
This all sounds marvelous, I wish you all the best! If the base game gets going, new sets of discussions and rules for experienced players offer so much potential for many years to come
Thank you for saying so! We have a lot of debate subjects, which we've clustered thematically. A printable version of the game can be downloaded from our website. Please do feel free to download and give us feedback. In the meantime, every like, comment, watch, share and subscription makes a difference as to whether we can get viable numbers to launch a print version. We're a long way away, so we appreciate your comment both as encouragement and also as TH-cam impact. Have a glorious weekend!
I was already sold, but this is making me send this to all my educator friends (also known as my friends). I think this game may have a great place as materials in a classroom, especially Montessori.
Thank you for saying so! We've tested on one group of thirteen year olds, who loved it. We think the game could really work as a "speed" introduction to debating concepts.
In terms of a child-friendly version, yes we would. We're currently debating (in a non-Aristorators debate format) whether to remove the more puerile cards from a starter version, to create a "fully child friendly" should we get enough interest to justify publicising. This would take out all references to bodily function and swearing. Generally we see the game as PG-13, in that we've generally avoided the really crude subjects. Part of the balance is that children often enjoy the opportunity to lightly challenge convention and authority, and that blend of cheekiness with over-formality is what makes the game stand out. It then almost becomes a question of how much parents are comfortable with their kids pushing boundaries. Having said that, we have hundreds of debate subjects locked in. So we think it's definitely possible to focus attention on chewing gum and toothpaste. In the meantime, we'll tweak the print and play next week to have six cards that we consider fully kid-friendly.
I love you guys, whoever you are

I guess a question related to this praise would be: would you make a child friendly version?
