For real. I am addicted to this song! I hear it in my dreams when I sleep at night, then wake up and its still in my head. I could hear this in the middle of a hurricane or a war and still feel at peace. Her music makes time slow down. Peace & Love to you!
+carloicious Her style, her way of being an artist inspires almost everyone in the industry. Her name appears very often as a reference to the artists and the critics
listen i think you didnt mean to, but ive been trying to find an old song for the past 30 mins that sounded EXACTLY like the flute part in the intro of this song and as a last resort i looked in the comment section and your comment mentioned hypnotic and it CLICKED. Hypnotic by Vanic × Zella. so t hank you. i wouldnt have found it without this comment
I'm really sick of people saying born to die was her best album. sure, it's the most pop. boo hoo. ultraviolence and honeymoon have elevated lana to a higher level of artistry where her writing is more poignant and honest, the production is cohesive and original, lana's vocals are a step more confident.... overall lana has grown since born to die, and shaped an identity and sound that is stronger now than ever. born to die was great, but ultraviolence, and now honeymoon, are truly worthwhile works of art.
+Steve Sunny Did you count them and found 100?? :P... I like the way you exagerate...no one cannot not to exagerate loving this lady... let me too I will choose a number of ones and zeros to say I like your comment 1000 times
***** i know right. i dont even bother with the lyrics when i first consume music. i let the music itself take me to places, and Lana's music succeeds in that aspect
it makes my heart hurt that i will never get to meet my biggest inspiration. i have found my ideals, goals, and visions through her, forever indebted to her.
I honestly don't understand the people who are saying that they want "Born to Die"-esque new songs and then claim she's "going too pop" now. Newsflash: Born to Die was THE poppiest thing she's ever done. You kids needs to listen up on some music history so you actually know what you're saying. Everything she's done since BTD has gotten further away from the pop/hip-hop elements it had, with Ultraviolence being the most extreme example, being heavily guitar-based. Aside from "High by the Beach," this record is mostly jazz+chamber music, if anything.
im spanish and i dont really understand why is the word 'to' at the end. 'Music to watch boys' is right but 'Músic to watch boys to'? It seems like theres a verb left there. Someone explains me lel

I've noticed something about some of her songs, including this one...her vocals are relaxed, "lazy", laid-back, slow, but the music in the background sounds like a very sad or "in despair" orchestral piece... like on the outside, she's trying to ignore and hide everything by taking it easy, but inside, there is sorrow and turmoil. That probably wasn't the intention, but I'm an overthinker, so.. :P
+Raamel walters This actually makes me so sad that she hasn't won any Grammys! Her music is unique and so damn good. People just don't listen to good music anymore.
Lana has blessed us yet again with another masterpiece. MTWBT is reminding me of Sad Girl/Trash Magic(pink flamingo) as well as BTD ERA vibes. It's like she's combined all the different eras in MTWBT plus that flute is slaying me big time and the drums during the bridge remind me of Hotel California. It's too beautiful and combined with her velvety vocals she's transported me into another dimension. Lana's vocals in this song are like pouring warm honey and cool lemonade into your ears. All in all I feel this song has cleansed my soul.
The rhythm, that flute.. for a moment i stop living in this world and start traveling through imagination and memories.. and i'm feeling peace, quietness and pleasure . So i'm preordering this beautiful thing
I was never a massive fan of her, but her new stuff is so masterfully made and stunningly beautiful. Even if shes loosing 'Fans' with this, shes just gained one.
From the title, the song might seem quite sexual, but when you hear it you realize that it's actually not. The dark undertone and shifting moods really make this a standout track. A highlight. No wonder metacritic listed as their favourite track
+Frname I'm gonna drag her if she doesn't lmao anyways, I can't wait to hear it, I've been repeating the "Freak" part on the Honeymoon sampler since it came out, I'm obsessed with it.
Hey Other Lana Fans, let's please get Honeymoon to #1, preferably for two weeks :) To do this it means we have to go and actually BUY a copy of the album, NO FREE STREAMING. I know it's very tempting but every day I read another snarky article on her & her music from "journalists" and it's obvious she has haters Within the music industry, hence never getting any mainstream attention/awards and they still talk about SNL , that she's fake and her so-called "anti-feminist" statements, , etc. We have to keep Lana going strong and show they were wrong, and that she has 10 times as many fans as the press want to believe...that means spending a few bucks. Lets support her (and yeah I know getting #1 on Billboard isn't everything, and she could probably care less, but I mean just to piss off the haters in the media lol)
Hey guys! I am a singer who just put out my first ever song on TH-cam! It was inspired by Lana's unreleased version of "Black Beauty" and I would love it if you guys check it out and give me feedback! Thanks for your time, I appreciate it!
I remember when this came out. I was going to highschool back then and it was another school day where I got up really early and I saw this song was up and listened to it. I remember I was so hypnotized. It was truly a moment to be up at 6 am listening to this jam lol. It's crazy how feelings allow us to travel time, because this song still makes me feel the same but so many other things have changed, I'm not even the same person anymore. But I vividly remember how I felt when I first listened to this
People who say they won't enjoy some of her album are not real fans. This song is not a filler. Lanas music has always been a more somber, soft grunge, indie type style. People like Lana because her beautiful voice, not because of the pace of her songs. Lana is literally an icon, and a big one at that. She is a great person with a great voice, she has so much talent, if you say you won't like this album because it's a slower pace, so was ultraviolence. Her music has many different levels of fastness and slowness, she likes to mix it up, because she is creative and intelligent. So the only problem with this album is people like you who are too stupid to not understand she changes her style of music to keep people wanting to know what's next
STOP COMPARING EVERYTHING SHE DOES TO BORN TO DIE! BTD was symbolic.. almost like "the death of Lizzy Grant" (and all her previous aliases and what THAT music stood for and presented itself as) Paradise is her finding LANA in herself, and than onward to UV and HM it is the evident they were the birth of Lana Del Rey and the transformation that comes with her and who she always wanted to be (such as her vocals, music, storyline....) people need to stop reading what EVERYONE else writes and rants about and start trying to understand her and what she is doing for themselves.
I don't get how people say all Lana's songs sounds the same its like bud get your ears checked, to me each song is something different and their all beautiful in a different way only the real Lana fans understand.
I think the main difference between BTD and her more recent work is that Lana is more focused on making an that is cohesive rather than individual songs that are single material. As an album BTD struggles because the songs (which I think are all great btw) do not fuse together, which is why critics were divided about it. Ultraviolence (and Honeymoon from the looks of it so far) is a cohesive body of work - and as an album it works far better than BTD. I personally prefer her later work because of this.
a lot of people say how can you listen to lana del rey without being depressed. im like BITCH, she is the reason im alive and her music takes you to another era, heck another world. sick of listening to contemporary artists. she is just too relatable
I really love how almost if not all the songs on Honeymoon have an amazing chorus and also bridge. In my opinion they are the best parts in the song like in this one when she sings "Nothing gold can stay, like love or lemonade or sun and summer days its all a game to me anyways"
I'm the only one who loves Ultraviolence so much? Is her best album so far. Honeymoon is gonna be amazing, but I think that is not gonna overcome Ultraviolence. Or maybe I'm wrong, who knows?
I think her best album will be honey moon because I feel like it's going to combine the vibes of all her previous albums and unreleased songs vibes. Well idk just my opinion
Ultraviolence is my favorite so far mainly because I can relate to the songs more. I do have high hopes for Honeymoon. Terrence Loves You is my fave so far!
This is good. I like it, and I think it'll grow on me even more. I know that artists progress and their music evolves etc., but I just really REALLY want a super confident, booming track on this album that I don't think I've heard from Lana since BTD. Like, I want another Blue Jeans or National Anthem. Something LOUD. I guess this new album seems a bit more mature(?) than that maybe. Or maybe I'm just bitter because nothing will beat BTD. Hmph. Good song though, can't wait for the rest.
what I love about this artist is her authenticity. for every album she's released there's a story being told, a continuation from each song. her artistry knows no bounds.
+hihiimzane It's slang that derives from the saying, "That blew me away". Well if someone's work is so good that it "blows you away", one thing that blows off with the strong wind is your wig or weave.
i took a buzzfeed quiz cuz i didn’t have anything to do and it said this my lana del ray song and damn it is! thanks buzzfeed for introducing this amazing masterpiece! i’m addicted.
It really saddens me to see so many comments where people are arguing about whether they like honeymoon or not. I personally love all the songs she has released so far, but we have to respect all the different opinions because everybody is different and has alternate tastes, even with the same artist. Supporting lana is my main goal, but the fact that I adore every song is an added bonus. Hope you all have a good day :)
It was the first Lana song I heard and I fell in love at first sight... since then I've been here to this day, listening and suffering for an impossible love 😢💗
just adding this comment cause i read on the comments below a lot of people putting down ultraviolence. um are you insane? I didnt think there were people out there that didnt love it. Im shocked. That was some of her BEST work. for sure. BTD,Paradise, and UV were all magnificent. I havent been too impressed with these recent releases. Theyre not bad theyre just nothing to get excited about. I hope my mind will change.
+Veronica Ferreira UV was her best record, better than BTD, I agree on this. But Honeymoon will probably be as good (I listened to the snippets from the early listening and it's utterly amazing). But yes, Ultraviolence is a fucking classic
If it wasn't for Ultraviolence I would've never liked Lana, I'm not saying Born To Die is bad, it's really, really good, but UV got me into her, holy shit, its one of the best albums of all times, then Born To Die, like about half of Paradise, and so far with this album, it sounds good, not amazing but real good
The first time I heard Off to the Races, I thought it was impossible for her to make something better than this song. Then came Cola. And after that I heard Cruel World. And now this... Then I thought "well, nevermind", she will never stop doing the best music in the world. And no one will ever convince me that I am wrong. Dammit Lana, stop being so perfect, all the other persons look just useless and uninteresting next to you... Love you Forever♥ ~Dreaming away your Life
I am honestly so addicted to Lana's music I literally can't get enough of it. she is beyond amazing. her music is paradise.
+Miranda Grant she's flipping dope!!
+Miranda Grant I know the feeling. I don't listen to anything else most of the time.
For real. I am addicted to this song! I hear it in my dreams when I sleep at night, then wake up and its still in my head. I could hear this in the middle of a hurricane or a war and still feel at peace. Her music makes time slow down. Peace & Love to you!
all retro song are perfect to me
+Miranda Grant it happensto me too
At this point i am convinced i will love her for life.
❤Convinced since 2012⏳
I think we all have she's a goddess
long live my queen
+carlos williams Since 2012 i knew that! My soulmate
+Enes Kadam SHE IS GOD TBH
what i love about lana is her CONSISTENCY
she's not like any other pop act out there striving for relevance by following trends
she is an original
She sets the trend haha
All of the pop stars right now are actually copying Lana, she's really in right now.
+carloicious Her style, her way of being an artist inspires almost everyone in the industry. Her name appears very often as a reference to the artists and the critics
True dat!!👌
+tonita88 She is not so original because Lana Del Rey is just a character created by Elizabeth.
her music is so hypnotic. she writes songs like they are poetry. stunning.
listen i think you didnt mean to, but ive been trying to find an old song for the past 30 mins that sounded EXACTLY like the flute part in the intro of this song and as a last resort i looked in the comment section and your comment mentioned hypnotic and it CLICKED. I don't even need drugs i just need Lanas voice for a fix
yasss
Yea, I feel so high when I'm listening to her voice. Most of Ultraviolence songs have this effect on me.
hi
true x)
Oh yeah, you have a fucking reason
I'm really sick of people saying born to die was her best album. sure, it's the most pop. boo hoo. ultraviolence and honeymoon have elevated lana to a higher level of artistry where her writing is more poignant and honest, the production is cohesive and original, lana's vocals are a step more confident.... overall lana has grown since born to die, and shaped an identity and sound that is stronger now than ever. born to die was great, but ultraviolence, and now honeymoon, are truly worthwhile works of art.
It's the best album because because of it i know her and i have a lot of memories with BTD. but i like all her albums.
Born to die was the last one I heard, and it was the best. I feel she was the most natural there.
drew fastiggi and Norman Fucking Rockwell now
Ultraviolence is her best album. Love Lana though no matter what she does. Born to die has a few iconic songs for me but is not her best album.
It s funny cause still one of my fav song is Video Games but I prefer the vibe and writing on Ultraviolence or Honeymoon. They deserve a lot.
I've heard this 100 times already.
I want freak now!
and I want the videoo!
+Fedi N.D the video is the 13th september
Same
+Steve Sunny Did you count them and found 100?? :P... I like the way you exagerate...no one cannot not to exagerate loving this lady... let me too I will choose a number of ones and zeros to say I like your comment 1000 times
+Steve Sunny The video for this song is already shooted, Lana used the images in the Honeymoon sampler. So Freak won't have a video for this moments.
How can anyone say they don't like that this album has a hint of jazz?! It makes her sound even more amazing
Kamashi Washington solo produced every track. Jazz.
where does it say he produced every track?
because everyone have a different opinions?
Sexy Savage good job

Yeaaaah!!!!!!

AGREE SO MUCH
a lot of people say how can you listen to lana del rey without being depressed. im like BITCH, she is the reason im alive and her music takes you to another era, heck another world. sick of listening to contemporary artists. she is just too relatable
Best song from the album so far!! I LOVE IT!!! 🏄🏃🏻🚶🏻🚴🏻🚣🏻🏊🏻🏇
I really love how almost if not all the songs on Honeymoon have an amazing chorus and also bridge. In my opinion they are the best parts in the song like in this one when she sings "Nothing gold can stay, like love or lemonade or sun and summer days its all a game to me anyways"
Lana is so underrated. Beautiful song
She’s quite popular I think
I'm the only one who loves Ultraviolence so much? Is her best album so far. Honeymoon is gonna be amazing, but I think that is not gonna overcome Ultraviolence. Or maybe I'm wrong, who knows?
Ultraviolence is my fave too,I just love it
Ultraviolence is an absolute MASTERPIECE. I would replace my heart with it.
+Jose Barajas same. everybody says Terrence loves you is such a boring song, and I love it too
This is good.
+jonbehere UV already beat BTD, and Honeymoon will too ;)
+jonbehere Yeah, I don't understand why she can't pop up 1 upbeat song these days. Or fast paced. Everything's so slow and sedated.
blackforest825
Because she doesn't want to. It's as simple as that
Shelley Clear
I don't agree with him, but not with you either. She has way more upbeat songs, HBTB is not her most upbeat one, not even the chorus
i agree
this song is beautiful but can we please talk about how gorgeous the cover art is?
Who's here in 2024? Can't get enough of this song!!!
THAT ACAPELLA AT THE BEGINNIN' THO!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111111111
+SAB DEL REY nice to meet you again \m/
Tanuja Saikhom
Lol am all over youtube haha xx
Please Lana neverrr Stop making those songs please 🖤🖤🖤
what I love about this artist is her authenticity. for every album she's released there's a story being told, a continuation from each song. her artistry knows no bounds.
This album is gold and can stay here forever, lana
I literally just conceived six children help me is this possible
All the life insurance in the world could not prepare me for this
Honeymoon is her best album to date. It's just incredible. Congratulations Lana
Seeing her sing this live with the beautiful music video blown up behind her was one of my favorite moments during the show
well, there goes my weave👋
same ^
Ditto. 👋
+gorabirk why do people say that about thier weave everytime.. i dont get it
+hihiimzane It's slang that derives from the saying, "That blew me away". Well if someone's work is so good that it "blows you away", one thing that blows off with the strong wind is your wig or weave.
thanks for clarifying that.
This album is gonna be HUGE
this song remind me to Sad Girl
Me2
I was gonna say that OMG
Shamikh Grant maybe she create this song same time with sad girl, but she keep this song for her next album and put sad girl in ultraviolence XD
Me too! !!
Maybe it's by the sound of the flute
i took a buzzfeed quiz cuz i didn’t have anything to do and it said this my lana del ray song and damn it is! thanks buzzfeed for introducing this amazing masterpiece! i’m addicted.
I'm completely bald. I HAD TWENTY INCH DREADS BEFORE CLICKING THIS VIDEO!
Septiembre (el mes de mi cumpleaños)= Honeymoon (mi regalo) ♥♥
+VANESSAINTOXICADA Happy Honeymoonpleaños! :O
¡Que buen regalo! :)
+Allan Sánchez con eso te basta 🎁
Wow September 18 es mi cumpleaños tambien.

It was the first Lana song I heard and I fell in love at first sight... since then I've been here to this day, listening and suffering for an impossible love 😢💗

It's 2019 and they're slaying again.
@-Sick.Melatonin Bro, this comment is 3 years old. Why are you replying to it? I think it’s obvious that my opinion could have changed.
just adding this comment cause i read on the comments below a lot of people putting down ultraviolence. um are you insane? I didnt think there were people out there that didnt love it. Im shocked. That was some of her BEST work. for sure. BTD,Paradise, and UV were all magnificent. I havent been too impressed with these recent releases. Theyre not bad theyre just nothing to get excited about. I hope my mind will change.
+Veronica Ferreira UV was her best record, better than BTD, I agree on this.
But Honeymoon will probably be as good (I listened to the snippets from the early listening and it's utterly amazing).
But yes, Ultraviolence is a fucking classic
If it wasn't for Ultraviolence I would've never liked Lana, I'm not saying Born To Die is bad, it's really, really good, but UV got me into her, holy shit, its one of the best albums of all times, then Born To Die, like about half of Paradise, and so far with this album, it sounds good, not amazing but real good
That means, simply, you live in a bubble. A Lana bubble? Sounds fabulous.
You guy should trying watching boy while listening to Lana Del Rey, its amazing.
the flute (or whatever) sound at the beginning !
Puts this on. Watches the boys.
Yeah, what else are you supposed to watch whilst listening to this lol
Has anyone actually watched boys while listening to this. 👀😂

+Byeloow As Birch Omg the struggle
cómo es que no conocí este álbum antes lpm es una masterpiece
The Album is great. From start to finish a big smile was on my heart. The Queen slayed again.
I can't stop listening to this song
The first time I heard Off to the Races, I thought it was impossible for her to make something better than this song. Then came Cola. And after that I heard Cruel World. And now this... Then I thought "well, nevermind", she will never stop doing the best music in the world. And no one will ever convince me that I am wrong.
Dammit Lana, stop being so perfect, all the other persons look just useless and uninteresting next to you... Love you Forever♥ ~Dreaming away your Life
O SHIT O SHIT
I like how she the same old lana and shes not switching to pop like some other people ;)

Anyone else get the feeling of sirens calling you to the sea? It's very enchanting and whimsical
